This decadent slice of chocolatey goodness from Awfully Chocolate is hands down my favourite chocolate mille crepe. Taste the thin and smooth layers with just the right amount of chocolate cream in between.. What a luxurious indulgence on a cool and lazy Saturday morning..

Brunch at PS. Cafe about 2 weeks ago, and I tried their BIG BREAKFAST!
Comprising:
- Two eggs, with a choice of poached/fried/scrambled on a slice of buttered toast
- Smoked bacon
- Baked beans with angus/pork sausage
- Wilted spinach, rocket and basil salad with cherry tomatoes and honey truffle dressing
This was filling and good, perfect for brunch, though it’s on the pricier side at $27, but I guess that’s what you’re paying for better quality food.
Ambience was nice, perfect for a relaxing weekend brunch to unwind after a long week.. overall a rather enjoyable meal!

The coffee shop is located in a rather quiet part of choa chu kang. Occasionally, you can hear the MRT passing by but I find comfort in this area in the afternoons as it feels like it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of the neighbourhood, feels as though life has slowed down a little.
DO NOTE that this stall typically opens for breakfast and they close at around 12+ to 1+pm. Also, waiting time for the food can be 30 min or more (we waited 30 min for ours at around 12+pm). So you might want to head there early when you got some time to spare.

Their carrot cake is honestly one of the better cakes even though the caloric content is REALLY REALLY HIGH. Sinful indulgence to start the day, but well, it’s a once in a while thing and it didn’t disappoint so it’s fine? Also had a refreshing mint citrus tea (my go to tea at Starbucks) as I try not to take coffee if I can over the weekends!

HAPPY MID AUTUMN! Yummy yummy mooncakes from @awfullychocolatesg that’s unique and rich in chocolate. The chocolate brownie mooncake was a twist in the ordinary mooncake flavours and I love the pastry for both of these, especially the dark chocolate one which was moist and rich in chocolate. It’s a sinful indulgence but worth every bite and calorie!💯👍🏼

I love how the cakes are light.
Tiramisu was an awesome indulgence, slightly creamy with the aroma of espresso.
Juicy Mango Cheesecake on the other hand was a light and refreshing choice. Love how they were really generous with the mango pulps!
It was indeed a yummy treat and I’m glad it wasn’t too heavy - perfect for a midday snack!

The mushroom soup was ok, but portion was quite small.. For the main, I had the alfredo and it was a plate of creamy goodness. Also ordered a lavender tea latte, was on the sweeter side but the aroma of the lavender was really strong. They have waffles and ice cream which are sold at a reasonable price however we were rather full so we didn’t try it.. will return one day to try though.
The ambience of the place was good as it is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Good place to hang out, relax and just take a break.

Today’s #brunch from @tiongbahrubakery! Got a fresh and crisp Ham & Cheese Baguette and a cup of Cappuccino to fuel up for a rather long day ahead. Also picked up some pastries for breakfast coz I have been craving their Kouign Amaan for a while😜 Honestly, this is one of my favourite bakeries although their prices are on the pricier side coz the food and drinks are of good quality. Their food is always fresh and well baked and their coffee is good too. 💯 recommend, must try (esp their pastries like croissant and kouign amaan if ur a fan of pastries).

Love the colour and most importantly the taste! The cake is soft, the coconut cream was light and there were tender pieces of young coconut flesh between the layers. Unlike most coconut desserts which are rather heavy, I like this for how light it is. This is one uniquely Singaporean flavour that you wouldn’t want to miss!

Warmed it up and the chocolate filling was oozing out as I ate it. Crisp on the outside and bittersweet with a slight buttery tinge of saltiness on the inside, SO GOOD! The perfect way to start the day!
