Soup with no depth. Just pure pepper corns, pepper and pepper. The mee sua was cooked to long until it almost becomes mushy.
The meat was good though, very tender.
Wa the peanuts... walao eh. Smells salty, feels mushy in the mouth, no taste of peanuts but the salty herbal gravy. Walao my dinner🙄

Doesn't look nice right BUT this lean meat mee sua (~$6) gives out herbal aroma with hint of pepper.
Tastes very rich but refreshing! Gliding through your palate smoothly.
Unlike those normal pepper soup😂
Peanuts released a nice fragrance and tastes like roasted chestnuts you get from those random bike 想当年~ (Grandfather bought charcoal roasted chestnut from random bike)
As you chew the lean meat, it tears into strands like pork floss
WILL COME BACK!

Ordered the most simple dish, Aglio Olio ($8.20 after 20% discount)
In my mind, Aglio Olio is just spaghetti with garlic and olive oil. Simple and light.
I donno why they want to put mushroom (though I love mushrooms).
They put crushed pepper instead of the normal chili...
Put linguine instead of spaghetti..
Like that where got CLASSIC AGLIO OLIO😭 I just want simple AGLIO OLIO

Cheese fondue, done extreme hipster.

Fluffy soft charcoal infused bread bowl, holds thick, molten, warm gooey cheese and herbs.

Around the sides, fluffy potato wedges, crisp juicy chicken chunks, earthy battered shiitake mushrooms.

Vongole Bianco ($12), an Italian classic pasta dish that's cooked with clams and white wine ! Reasonably priced items for almost all the items on the menu! What's best is that it's located in the Neighbourhood of Ang Mo Kio which is near us! We actually tried both of the items on the menu, one with just the clams and this one with the pasta. I would say the one with just the clams was better seasoned, flavourful compared to the one with the pasta which was lacklustre, even though the only difference was the pasta. However, I Don't think you can find a place with such decent food at a lower price !

We were "strolling🚗" along East coast road and fall upon this cafe! Environment is yeah~ cozy. Menu looks delicious, photos look delicious but I think $20? for that platter is a bit😕 Eggs and mushrooms were nice but not like "WOW"
Ordered Mushrooms crêpe ($15) too! Just love everything with mushrooms HAHAHAHAHAHA

👍🏼Love their Hazelnut latte! Milk with coffee and chocolate with a hint of Hazelnut. After taste was pretty good as the taste of Hazelnut lingers in your mouth😋 But a bit too sweet for me.
Best to go in morning/afternoon coz lighting is 🙌🏻 #instagrammable
👍🏼Great service
