The chew of the Kueh was not bad, there's a bite which I'm not a personal fan exactly but still good. The surrounding batter has a cold crunch.

Shredded coconut was v moist, almost slightly wet. Could have been more generous w the filling tho

Good service, friendly assistant manager

Nice place to chill after work
Pistachio Crust was interesting, the pork is tender
And that yellow thing at the side is not potatoes, it's pineapple hahahah my bf got a shock

My friend's phone was flat and the waitress was very kind to help us charge it:) thank you! Food was good too, we enjoyed the sushi rolls (miso and takagi unagi)

Had cheese chicken, chawanmushi and croquettes too

Regular waffles ($6) with a scoop of "Leegacy" (dark chocolate) ice cream ($4 for premium flavour). Waffles were delicately crisp on the outside and fluffy and tender inside. The ice cream was unusual in that it had an intense dark chocolate flavour, but was otherwise very light and almost delicate. A good choice to eat on its own as it is unlikely to become "jelat", but not the best pairing for the waffles owing to its absence of a rich mouthfeel and the lack of sweetness of both elements of the dish. One of the sweeter, denser flavours of ice cream would be great with the waffles.

Burnt Chilli Chicken Rice Bowl ($10 weekday lunch promo)- a very generous serving of intensely charred chicken, moist and tender on the inside and packing serious heat on the outside. Seasoning was spot on. The portion was substantial enough that I'd suggest having a dining companion order a different bowl and then sharing the chicken and other protein of choice. Topped up $0.50 for "Shiny Rice" (rice drizzled with lard and garlic oil), which was subtly fragrant but not particularly noteworthy; and $3.80 for a set which included a tasting portion of Haus Bacon (a little like 烧肉 without the fat) and free flow house drinks (Honey Lime, Sour Plum, Red Tea).

Good portion for the price ($10++). This dish had minimal (if any) sauce and instead appeared to be just pasta baked in cheese. The upside to this was, well, a lot of cheese, with plenty of stretchiness in every bite; the downside was that with the lack of a binder or emulsifier some of the cheese split, resulting in a layer of oil at the bottom of the dish.

Space Oddity pizza ($12; tomato sauce, pepperoni, salami, mozzarella). The dough was the star of the show - crispy yet chewy crust, with a complex flavour not found in standard pizza bases. Toppings and sauce were generous but not excessive. Overall a simple but very well executed classic pizza. Would return to try the other flavours!

Ordered the Wagyu and Pork Cheeks Combo ($16) and Signature Short Rib ($6/skewer). The pork was outstanding- incredibly tender and beautifully charred and smokey on the surface, balanced by a subtle brightness from the vinegar it was prepared with. The wagyu was well-cooked and had decent flavour, but lacked marbling and the melt-in-your-mouth texture of higher grade wagyu. The short rib had the same intense char as the pork and a great crust in some places, while still being extremely moist and tender inside. Everything was well-seasoned and flavourful. Would return for the pork cheeks and short ribs! No photos as it's my first Burpple review and I was only inspired to post by how good the pork cheeks were :)
