Simple food tastes the best.
But mind you, this is nothing simple. A lot of prep work to do. So every crunch from the fried yam and every lick of the thick gravy, was birthed from hard prep work.
To think we'll all wallop it all down in minutes.
Focus on the sides. Love the mac & cheese. Could be a tad more cheesy, but for what it is, I already like it.
The highlight was the steak that came to my liking. So in the end, it was a good meal at a comfortable price. Nothing fancy about Astons, so just have my meat craving answered, eat and go.

Oh yes, the stout was like baby's milk. That's as intoxicated as I was with 2pints. How bad can you get with milk?

Try them, they don't look or taste anywhere as squeamish as they sound. The braised pig's head has been prepared in such a way that it looks just like typical meat. But I must say, it's extra moist, flavourful and very tender; contrasting nicely with the crunchy coating. Pour the light and sweet quince sauce over the croquettes and let it soak for a bit before eating.
The menu offers 34 items, and the dishes that we tried ranged from average to pretty good. Standouts include the Thai Fish Cake (unfortunately, limited to 1pc per customer) and the very addictive Fried Chicken Wings with Herbs (luckily, this one can order until happy-happy!).

Dinner - Adults: $20.90+ Kids: $14.90+
Not cooked the traditional way with just cheese and egg yolks, but this ones still quite tasty with a light cream sauce and thick slices of ham.
