Fabulous Rye Whisky for a classic Old Fashioned
If you are a bread-lover, you'll be delighted to know that they serve Eggs Benedict here with a side basket of their famous baguette. So besides poached eggs, baby spinach, smoked salmon (or Serrano ham) on brioche, all blanketed in creamy hollandaise sauce, you also get three slices of their signature French loaf. Really like that it's so crisp on the outside and airy yet chewy inside. The whole shebang goes for $19.50.
Pillows of thick and fluffy brioche are first egged-up before being fried to a gorgeous golden brown. They are then served with fruit and a mini jug of aromatic vanilla cream sauce. I like that they venture away from the ubiquitous maple syrup because that vanilla sauce and the French toast sure make sweet music together.
A little egg porn to start the day. So pleased that there's an all-day brunch cafe within 10 minutes of my home!
Had a steak and bangers&mash.. not worth the price paid for..
Had a good steak after such a long time. Steak was priced based on weight from the cart. One good cut from the Captain.. awesome !
