WAITING TIME: Gave up waiting at Menya Kanae on opening day so we came here and got served our food in 5 mins flat

- Air-conditioned space yet that they don't charge GST and service charge 👍👍👍
- Rice is fragrant
- Like the chilli sauce and ginger sauce
- Big portions of chicken
- Roasted chicken has really nice crispy flavourful skin
- Tender chicken meat; not tough, nor dry
- Felt safe here cos they did check for Safeentry proof and scan every person's temp 👍👍👍

REMARKS:
- He who doesn't like green tea flavoured food, actually liked this A LOT
- I LOVED IT
- the streussel top is just...wow
- Very reasonable price for a muffin this big and this good

- "it's like lasagna but in Japanese ramen form"
- Usually don't like food loaded with tomatoes because of the sourness but this was okay and well balanced with the ramen noodles and copious amount of cheese

- Made the same mistake of ordering this. According to my 2016 review, I specifically mentioned I shall not order this again but, this occupied a big square on the menu like it's a signature dish so we got tempted and forgot that we have eaten it before and didn't like it.
- Very plain. Just beancurd with minced meat. Not worth $12.
- Sauce is not flavorful and this dish could really do with the addition of chye poh

- Really really really good
- As good as they were during our first time here years ago
- Milk powder on buttery pork ribs is such an ingenious invention

REMARKS:
- Have to write our orders on a paper, pass to the staff and wait for them to take the ingredients/banchan for us. Luckily we went during lunch hour, not full house, staff were attentive
- Choice of 3 types of korean fried chicken
- Sadly didn't get to eat ice cream because we had passed the 90-minute limit. Bill was served immediately. Would be better if staff actually reminded us that our dining time would be up soon and asked if we'd like to be served our ice cream. We were not the only buffet diners who didn't get to eat the ice cream.
- The meats were well marinated and flavorful
- Shrimps are the only seafood option (on our lunch menu)
- Side dishes were nice
- Free refillable cold korean barley tea

WILL WE RETURN? It's our second buffet here. But will probably try the opposite rival shop next time for comparison.
