Situated in a two-story fire-engine red shophouse, Drury Lane along Tanjong Pagar Road is almost hard to miss. Serving up all-day-breakfast with additional dishes such as Cloud 9 (Cream Cheese Pancakes) and 1935 Toast (French Toast with Peanut Butter and Banana) on the weekends, the cafe also offers a variety of homemade pastries which changes daily, serving a seasonal blend of coffee with beans from Toby's Estate and a 'pay as you wish' concept for their muffins.

Got the combo (large churros bites + ice cream & cookie co's) couldn't resist cos I've been wanting to try this and churrosity actually has it. Pricey but I loved it. the earl grey ice cream tasted damn good with the lemon zest cookies!!!

Tucked away in a cosy corner of the OId Badminton Hall, Brawn & Brains makes you feel right at home once you step in, complete with friendly smiles and warm greetings. With a delightfully unpretentious vibe, you can either enjoy a quick and delicious lunch bite, or stick around with a book and enjoy a great latte and homemade Earl Grey pound cake. Mellben needs no introduction to all crab lovers. The crab bee hoon has addictively rich, creamy sauce that keeps people coming back for more, despite the insanely long queues. Besides the excellent crab, go for the Salted Egg Pork Ribs, and Salad You Tiao. Don't forget to order some greens to balance this meal ;) Make reservations ahead of time to avoid queuing for 2 hours!

Aoki is arguably most famous for their Mazechirashi, which is perfectly executed. You get a good ratio of sashimi to rice, good texture, and flavours that meld together amazingly. The nigiri sushi is top-notch as well. Go for their lunch sets; they're very affordable considering the incredible quality. Always make reservations as they have limited capacity.

This refurbished warehouse has been generating a buzz since it's doors opened as a sprawling bike shop and event space that conveniently serves coffee and food too. A lovely spot to relax on the weekend, come and check out the bicycles with your friends, and wind down with a simple coffee. Don't expect bells and whistles, it's a bike shop after all! A calming environment with the perfect mix of vintage and industrial, Lola's is a great spot for a casual brunch. Their honey paprika wings are a hit, along with their trusty eggs ben. Pick a nice cider from their wide selection to go with your wings, and kick back for a relaxing weekend. Photo by gninethree G93
