Spicy pickled cabbage, quite spicy and nice complement to the ramen (7/10). Sliced bamboo shoots seasoned with chilli, nice texture but had a weird fishy taste (4/10).
Hokkaido Ramen combines mixed vegetables, corn and butter and rich flavourful miso broth. Added a soft boiled egg. Enormous portions! Very nice and hearty, noodles were perfectly al dente (6.5/10).
Packed full of corn served with smashed avocado, tomato&coriander salsa and pesto. The perfect accompaniments and the fritters were really tasty with nice texture. Happy to find fritters with so much corn in them (9/10).
Blueberry ricotta hot cakes served with maple syrup and butter. Did look much fun but they were so tasty. Perfect amount of sweetness and fluffiness, could have done with a few more blueberries a and maybe some clotted cream (8/10).
House made crumpets, raspberry and cinnamon poached pear w/ orange ricotta. 3 huge crumpets was a bit too much. They tasted nice and were really fluffy. Even though the complements were nice I would have preferred something more tangy like raspberries to break off the sweet flavours (7/10).
Artichoke & zucchini fritters w/ peas, poached egg, mint and preserved lemon. Nice flavours but missed some texture, would have liked the fritters to be crispy. Also the poached egg was slightly overdone (6/10).
Good amount of froth and nice flavour, a bit subtle (7/10).
Ate pie from the famous 'Pie in the sky'. Spinach, feta and rice. We got them straight from the oven and the pastry was nicely flaky and crisp. The filling tasted really fresh but it could have done with some more feta (7/10).

Grilled corn cake topped with avocado, roast tomato, sautéed mushroom, coriander pesto & poached a free-ranged egg. Would have wanted the "cakes" to be more fluffy and crispy (7/10).
