In the past, there was this old lady who sold beancurd under the stairways. Many students and housewives were her local customers. However, the rise in rental forced her to close down her business. .

Few years later, her grandson (I think) reopened the stall and bought back the traditional taste. The silky texture with semi dissolve sugar which gave a crisp to it. Holding a bowl of warm beancurd in the cold weather, this is what I call heartwarming. Many said that the beancurd wasn't as fragrant as it used to be but still many people Q up for it. Personally I feel that as long someone continue the tradition, taste could always have the chance to improve. .
