Zhong Zhong Fine Spice (Bukit Timah Market)

Back to one of my fav stalls at Bukit Timah Market & Food Centre. Zhong Zhong Fine Spice offers a wide variety of ngoh hiang that I always tend to over order.

First time trying wuxiang, didn’t expect the bill. But overall quite decent. The chili has a little hint of lime juice which really elevated the taste. My mom said that the chili is a very important factor so they definitely checked that box!

There are so many things I want to eat, 这个那个 until a mountain, oops I over order again.

Saw some good reviews and also some people eating it when we were there but didn't think it was great, have had many better ones elsewhere.

Sauce was not bad though.

$11.20 for about 7 items

Pretty disappointed with this dish although I did see that it looked like a popular item that most would order .

Chilli was so sweet , the egg / chestnut item doesn’t tatse anything like tradition and the beehoon was really ahem .... ....

I Love their springy noodles which is not so soggy. When you dip the fragrant wu xiang with the chili sauce, you can taste the hint of sweet and sour ! So shiok! The prawn cake is also very chewy ! Last but not least, the fried tofu that is so juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Worth my calories.
