First time trying out their croissants really impress me. I have choose their Tuna Mayo Croissant ( RM11) & Fresh Orange Juice ( RM13). The croissant is so crispy and yummy. They actually have plenty choices to let you put as the topping. Give a try if you love croissants.

Pesto calls for basil, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and cheese as the basic of basics. Oh and let's not forger pine nuts. But fear not my nut allergic comrades! The pesto chicken pasta with a long fancy french name from Yeast Bistro is nut-less!

Opened by a French married to a Malaysian Chinese, Yeast has been around for a very long time and is famous mostly for their pastries. Yes all you Yeast tart fanatics, I hear you.

Expect your menu to have intimidating sounding French names with lots of รฉ,รช,รข and the such and if you're like me, you'll save yourself the effort and just point at the damn thing.

The pesto chicken pasta (I'll just call it that cause the name of the dish was so long my short term memory went into shock) was priced at RM 37 pre-GST (no 10% service charge) and came in a reasonable portion. Pasta was not al dente (apparently some customers complained that it was undercooked) which is how I like my pasta and not seasoned enough. It was ok. A little lacking in flavour, not something Over Dosing on table salt and pepper cannot fix. Chicken was nicely flavoured tho. But why would you season they would season their chicken nicely and underseason their pasta is beyond me.

It wasn't bad. But meh, how wrong can you go with a pesto pasta anyway?...ok maybe I don't want an answer for that.

Newly open Boulangerie in midvalley which is fairly busy.. The environment there is alright but not like the telawi one.. Their mini raspberry tartlet is really dainty yet delicious if you just opt for a bite of sweets and a perfect size as tea time treat

A cosy French themed restaurant on bangsar. Thoroughly enjoyed both plates of pastas even thought the carbonara got a tad cloying towards the end due to its richness. Nonetheless, cosy little place for once in a while indulgence.

Behold! The holy grail of all chocolates! This tart is made with the best chocolate in the world, Valrhona chocolate that is and it's mighty glorious! It's bitter yet smooth and the sugar isn't over powering at all.. Every bite of this tart is a harmonious bite that guarantees you smiling with happiness, like I do when I had it! Yums! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜

Having a relax afternoon read read books, looking at chefs serving plates and plates of kitchen art. But I did not really enjoy my pastry as I am not a sweet tooth myself. However, definitely can come back to try their proper meal. The smell from next table is too good!
