When I came across Turtle Bay, I knew instantly that I definitely have to give it a try. True enough, I was in awe with soul food for its comforting levels, fantastic aromas and the depth of unique flavours in their food.
Served with Caribbean slaw and spiced fries, my order came with a half jerk chicken that's sure to fill up a hungry tummy. The chicken has been marinated for 24 hours with herbs and grilled upon order on a pit grill before serving with orange chutney and coconut shavings.
Another dish worth mentioning is the curry, shrimp and mango one-pot dish (£9.70) which brings a certain heat to your palate. Served with traditional rice and peas, this dish contains shrimps, mango, sweet potatoes, tomato, garlic, ginger, Caribbean spices, green seasoning and sweet onion chutney.
