Hidden amongst the rows of beautiful Japanese houses lie a quaint two-storey cafe, famous for its adorable cream puffs. One can get a little lost while finding this spot, even with the help of google map. Or perhaps it's just me not having a good sense of direction. #firstworldproblem. With the help of a friendly staff from Lawsons and a couple along the way, we managed to get to our much anticipated destination. And yes, these puffs didn't disappoint, not one bit. Certain flavours vary each season, such as marron (chestnut) in autumn and Sakura in spring. But classic flavours (chocolate and cream) will always stay. We managed to try the matcha and strawberry flavours. Boy, they were so delicious. 😋 The choux pastry was perfect- slightly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. And did I mention the amount of lovely cream that each puff contained?! They were stuffed! The strawberry cream tasted so light and fresh, with a tiny zing from the strawberries (you know they use the real stuff when you get this perfect flavour) and the matcha cream had some bitterness in it - just what I like about proper green tea flavours. Who can ever resist the combination of cuteness and deliciousness?
Cripsy exterior, no guilt cream in the interior. And lest, it's soooooo cuteee. No girl can resist any cute items, food or anything. This just win everything. They have a total of 4 flavours when I was there: green tea, strawberry, cream custard & chocolate. We chose the green tea (left) & strawberry (right). Look at how well they decorate it to differentiate!
