Starbucks (Pacific Plaza)

Saw someone recommend this customised @starbuckssg drink on @burpple so I had to give it a try myself 😋 Like the original reviewer, I’ld suggest asking for the drink to be less sweet with extra chai tea concentrate.

First of all, I'm not a Starbucks person (I just hate coffee generally) but when I got to know about the Halloween special menu I just tell to myself "I have to get this!" and so I did. For frappes they usually have two options - coffee base or cream base, I just have to simply request the barista to use cream base.

So I ordered that and instantaneously felt so bourgeois (It cost me $8.80 for a drink yo!). At first glance, it doesn't look scary or anything. As for the taste, it's so red bean-ie and has a strong sesame taste. Felt like those potong ice-cream in a form of a shake.

To conclude, it's just a good red bean/black sesame frappe with a lil bit of Halloweenie vibe to it.

Took the chance to try with the 1 for 1 promotion. Mixture of a variety of fall ingredients that gives off the instense spices flavouring. Especially cinammon which is so strong. Perfect drink for the fall!

Too strong of that artificial red bean taste and subtle flavour of black sesame despite the whole drink is black in colour. Sorry Starbucks, u let me down this time round.

🙆 Been wanting to try this Matcha Earl Grey Frappe as it combines two of my faves and super glad it didn't disappoint!!!! 💖 Esp when you paid the full price for it ($8.80) 'cos I've missed the previous 1-for-1 offer 😅

If you think the cookie straw is fragile or just a gimmick (like I did), think again! I can confirm with you it's as sturdy as the normal type of straw! Quite an experience I must say, an unconventional way of drinking through the edible yum straw! Pleasant surprise when the fragrant earl grey jelly hit through the straw (so smoothly) 'cos I didn't think it would be able to go through it at first 😂😅 If only all the straws are like this - super environmentally friendly LOL can eat aft the drink. 😋 #burpple

Look out for the new @starbuckssg watermelon and lychee aloe Frappuccino 🥤🏝($8.20) - I admit I went for this because the tri-color instagrammable look🍉 but I do love watermelon + lychee + aloe individually! The green layer - aloe jelly, white layer - lychee whipped cream , pink layer - watermelon ice blend❤️ warning!!!! ⚠️ it’s not as pretty after stirred😂 but it tastes really refreshing but too sweet for me overtime🌚the lychee cream and aloe cubes is a overkill😅 I will still go for a good basic cup of watermelon juice🙊but for the gram and seasonal limitation of this drink, it’s worth a try!!!👍✨
