Unique cocktails with chill vibes Finally got to visit Hopscotch! Came on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t too crowded. Quality of food was great with good portion sizes. Chili lobster pasta was al dente and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Tried the Oriental Duck Pizza and Buah Keluak Infused Beef Stew as well. Their local-inspired fusion dishes definitely nailed the traditional flavors while offering a fresh take. Highly recommend! The level of creativity, presentation and variety of cocktails is just mind-blowing. Ordered Wish Upon A Lantern and White Sands. Got to write wishes on the lantern paper, and staff came to torch it after. Exquisitely made and such a fun idea. White Sands came with refreshing lychee bubbles and was more of a dessert, than the traditional drink. Loveeed them both. Will definitely be back to try their other signature cocktails!

Hopscotch (Gillman Barracks) - 23 Mar 25 Pleasant environment for a chill evening. Had the Roasted Duck pizza, Chilli Lobster Linguine and the Pangium Beef. Pizza was crispy and flavourful. The Chilli Lobster sauce was spicy on point, satisfying yet it doesnt sweat you out. The Pangium Beef was super tender, the meat was so soft that it melts in the mouth! For the cocktails, my partner and I had the White Sands and the Wish Upon the Lantern. Super intriguting experience, with the White Sands being an edible cocktail and the interesting short "performance" by sending our wishes through burning. Highly recommended for those who are looking to chill for the evening after a long day of work or over the weekends with friends!

Imaginative Menu Hands down for the creativity of the menu. I ordered a lovely cocktail with pipa gao, longan and hawthorn. The house wings dipped in red beancurd batter was deep fried to perfection.

First Visit, YES! Second visit, meh... First visit was rather pleasant. Visited on a Fri, and terms stated to order by 7pm. Was "pressured" by the staff to order "asap". Food was pretty good. No restrictions to choices. It was a nice cozy spot! My friends and I all enjoyed the food and ambience. Ordered Salmon Pesto pasta, Signature Mondomio pasta, Romana pizza (shown in pic). Second visit on a Tuesday dinner, informed the staff i would like to use burpple. Immediately told me "no risotto, no seafood" - this was NOT stated on the t&cs in burpple. Was really looking forward to letting my friend try the salmon pesto (highly recommend if you like pesto), but fish is seafood too. Quite disappointed for the "double standards" even though food is quite nice. Pls check with shop on what is available to order prior to visit since they're not clear with their t&cs or they changed it without any updates.

Good food but poor service… Food and price were actually sooo good! Loved the tagliatelle the sauce soooo delish but felt that the manager’s attitude changed completely when she heard we were using burpple… like she didn’t even look at us when talking to us compared to the friendliness showed when sitting us down 🥲

1-for-1 pizza Overall: 4/5 ⭐️ Food: 4/5 ⭐️ Price (with discount): 5/5 ⭐️ Ambience: 3/5 ⭐️ Service: 5/5 ⭐️ Overall bready yet soft sourdough crusts, with their specialty crispy chili oil to pair with on the side if you prefer (not the best though). The downside is that we were there during happy hour but we weren’t allowed to use both burpple and happy hour discounts. We sat inside which was a bit humid on the evening that we went. Staff were very nice despite it being a busier night. Paid $28 (including GST and service charge) for 2 pizzas, so it was very worth with the burpple discount! Not so classic marg ($24) Loved the buffalo mozzarella! Almighty cheese ($24) There was goat cheese as part of it and with nice crispy bits on the top to add more texture. Drizzled with hot honey (I think it’s meant to be hot as in spicy but it wasn’t that spicy). I personally love the savoury and sweet combo.

Butter Chicken ($28) Quite a unique combi and while the butter chicken couldn't replicate the creamy goodness of the authentic ones, it still passed muster. Loved the addition of the pickled onions as well, giving every bite a nice crunch and a slight tang.

Plant Square ($26) A medley of colourful veges adorned over a beautiful tomato sauce atop a delicious sourdough base. Think semi-dried tomatoes, huge black olives, slices of grilled eggplant and zucchini, slivers of mushrooms and bell peppers and artichokes. Lovely variety and all coming together so well. The accompanying chilli oil was pure goodness as well - drizzle it onto your pizza and also the crust for an added oomph.

Spanish Seafood Risotto @$29 Both of us are such suckers for Risotto, especially for Seafood risotto. So what attracted us to try out black cherry, was that there's a 1for1 risotto here. The seafood was fresh and the Risotto, tasted like it had a spa day soaking in prawn broth. It was Tasty good. Black Cherry is located at Bijou, a mixed development residential Condominium located within walking distance from Pasir Panjang MRT.

Came here for the Burrple 1for1, but decided to have some Tapas, which looked damn good. 1)SPANISH PRAWN GAMBAS AL AJILLO @ $18 - sauteed prawn cooked with garlic, chili & extra virgin olive oil - My favourite, overpowering garlic, burst of flavours, fresh prawns. 2) CHORIZO AL VINO @$16 -chorizo sausage, sauteed in red wine with chili & garlic - rather good, burst of flavours. 3)ALMEJAS A LA MARINER@$16 - (spanish style clams) fresh clams in white wine, lemon, garlic, olive oil - clams were fresh, and that "broth" was damn flavourful and shiok.

Signature Cheesecake- $9++ The tangy & sweet mixed berry compote complements rly well with the cheesecake. Cheesecake itself is not too sweet & not heavy/cloying, it's the creamy kind but more moist & airy. With sweet crunchy cake base which I guess is made from crushed graham crackers. Personally a die-hard cheese fan so this is not cheesy & rich enough for me (I can take super cheesy & creamy stuffs that even some cheese lovers can find it too rich) but would suffice for most!

the best thing on the menu I had the Elvis ($11) which had PB, raw cacao, banana blended together to form a thick & creamy smoothie bowl, topped with house-made vanilla granola. Also topped with raw peanut butter cubes which were to die for!! The top layer was rich pb & choc, and the bottom sticky crunchy layer was a mixture of crushed cashews, pitted dates & coconut.

change to gluten free toast!!!! was convinced by a friend to change the buns of the Portobello Mushroom Burger ($18) to Gluten-free Toast (+$3). It’s LIFE CHANGING SERIOUSLY. As usual, their potato chunks taste amazing esp when paired with their housemade mayo.

STANDARD DROP, STAFF DONT CARE Risotto was just severely undercooked !!!!! Told at least 2 STAFFS and they said errrr ok …. HOWEVER NO ACTION BEING DONE…. UNACCEPTABLE FOR A F&B restaurant. TRULY the worst food ever. Won’t even pay a penny for the food.

Decent Western food, esp. on Entertainer deals! Cali is a nice and cosy place to share a meal, even on a Saturday night, as it’s not crowded. We had the pepperoni pizza, which was standard fare, and the smoked duck carbonara, which wasn’t overly creamy and gelat. The truffle fries were really good (my fave) and topped off the whole meal. It was worth it as we had the Entertainer 1-for-1 deal, if not it might be a little pricey. Good to pay a visit if there are promos on! (To note, the Entertainer 1-for-1 deals are on the pasta, burgers, fajitas and pizza.)

Good meats and drinks! If you are looking for a place with decent food and drinks, Cali Bar is one place to consider! We ordered a couple of dishes and here are some of my favourites: Kurobuta Pork Loin Fajitas ($30) - this was the crowd favourite, due to the flavourful and rather tender meat, the smoky onion slices and guacamole that you can assemble in a wrap! Definitely 1 good fajitas that is good to share! Baby Back Ribs ($36) - the ribs itself may be rather small, but it was tender and flavourful. The fries were even better. Light, crispy and fluffy, I think I can eat a whole bowl without a problem! Baked Cheesy Nachos ($18) - this is one addictive snack. Crispy nachos with cheese, guacamole, salsa and jalapeno, this is one sharing dish that is great with beers! If you are working around the area, this is one place to consider for after work drinks. Do note that it can be rather expensive, but I guess it's how it is in the Rochester area! Thank you @scalemicroinfluencers for the invite and @cali.singapore for the food!

Fish with macadamia crust The fish was fresh and soft, and the crust complimented it really well! Really enjoyed this! We ordered 3 main dishes, and 2 desserts (so we could use a Burpple deal, and it was about $30/person) pretty worth it!

Keto Brownie This legit taste super super good, even on a normal brownie scale. The chocolate was fudgy but not sticky, and it wasn’t too sweet either which went very well with the ice cream! The other items on the menu also looked pretty good and decently priced for a restaurant with a nice ambiance! Would come back again to try their other food!

Plant based Crab pasta Again, taste exactly like crab! Pasta was decent.

Pan-seared salmon ($19.90), prawn aglio olio ($17.90) Salmon was seared perfectly. Skin was crispy on the outside, the meat was juicy & tender on the inside. Fries were crispy & well-seasoned as well. Prawns were big & fresh. Pasta could hv slightly more seasoning / taste. Portion was quite small tho

Chill vibes with Good Food First time here and ordered a starter, pizza, pasta and dessert for 2 pax. Decided to get something unique and ordered the Hot Assam pizza. We were pleasantly surprised. Pizza had a subtle tanginess from the Assam sauce and smoky aroma from the crust. Definitely worth a try. Bolognese pasta was well executed. Pasta al dente but flavour wise nothing too special. As for dessert, the Tiramisu was a standout. Soft, rich, creamy and indeed “darn good”. Service was very friendly and place was chill. Will definitely be back with more friends to try out the other pizzas and pasta!

Cozy pizza spot Had the Bismark Blanc and was pleasantly surprised at how good the dough was! The deep fried burrata was also a stunner with the vinegar caviar and tomato sauce. Chicken wings were interesting with hints of peanut butter and chili.

Good food!! Had an amazing dinner at Paradise Pizza! We ordered the Deep-Fried Burrata, which was a great start—crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and those little vinegar caviar-like pops added a nice tangy contrast. The Bismark Blanc was a standout—the dough had that slight sour tang from proper fermentation, with a nice chew and char. The sous vide egg and Parma ham made every bite rich and flavourful. A true flavour bomb! Also tried the Wagyu Bolognese, and it did not disappoint. The ragu was hearty, meaty, and packed with umami. The pasta had a great bite to it, making it a solid comforting dish. Ended the meal with the Darn Good Tiramisu, and they weren’t kidding with the name. Made with Blacklist coffee, espresso, and mascarpone, it was ultra-creamy, indulgent, and leaned slightly on the bitter side for that perfect flavour balance—not overly sweet, just how a tiramisu should be.

Beef Tenderloin Had this steak. Asked for medium but it seemed medium rare. Nice soft and tasty. Seated outside. The tables are well spaced out. Pleasant evening. Burpple Beyond could not be used for special dishes like this beef steak. The coupons are valid for pizza and spaghetti dishes.

Linguine Vongole, Fettuccine Boscaiola Great cozy Italian restaurant with amazing ambience. The pasta was cooked al dente, but the flavours could be better. Fettuccine was super salty, clams for vongole were not fresh.

BEST WAFFLES EVA! Crispy and tasty waffles! One of the best i ever eaten so far! Other food like the pasta and pizza is good as well! Ambience and service was 10/10! Definitely will recommend to friends!

The Only Keto Snowskin Mooncake! This is by far the only keto snowskin mooncake i have seen and tasted so far, and after biting into it, i must say, it was excellent! Its hard to find keto and other healthy desserts, but Sofi Cafe has it all! Keto desserts keto drinks and keto meals! Come here if you care about your health and how your food tastes at the same time!

Great Pizzas We tried the Pollo Pepperocino and the popular Parame E Rucla. Both were great for the price especially with the crispy thin crust that was both tasty and perfect if you're conscious about the carbs. Thought the Pollo was a little odd with the avocado toppings but it turned out fine and the Parame was lovely as ever, although they could've been a bit more generous with the ham toppings. The ambience was quaint and cozy and the staff were very helpful. Totally recommend!
