Xiao Long Kan Had an amazing hotpot experience at @xiaolongkansg Xiao Long Kan! The atmosphere was so authentically Chinese, and the clear soup base was incredibly refreshing. The mala was definitely 🔥🔥🔥! 🌶 Everything was so fresh, and the ox tongue presentation was a work of art! 🌹 Definitely recommend this place for a delicious and unforgettable hotpot experience.

Authentic Szechuan Hotpot Unlike other joints that charge more if u want duo or trio soup , this places charges u less if u choose the 3 soup option ! Hallelujah for variety lovers ! The Mala Soup has a commendable spicy kick n variety & quality of the food is decent . It won’t cost u an arm n a leg and tables are well spaced out .

Sweet Potato Porridge with Mei Cai Pork Belly The Sweet Potato Porridge with “Mei Cai” Pork Belly, Preserved Radish Omelette and Assorted Condiment ($14.90) is such a comforting meal. Although the pork belly is not super soft, it is braised thoroughly and not dry at all. The sweet and savoury preserved radish omelette is very tasty. Together with a hot bowl of sweet potato porridge, this is one hearty porridge meal!

Bacon & egg souffle Taiwanese cafe introduces 3 Eggsquisite Specials until end October. 🥚🥚🥚 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧 & 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 ($16.90) - Fluffy and light souffle topped with crispy bacon, oozy sunny side up, velvety hollandaise sauce, and drizzle of honey. Interesting and enjoyable mix of sweet and savory flavours.

Taiwanese food Price is acceptable but the food wise is slightly on the bland side. The crispy chicken is good but would be great if the spiciness can be greater. 红油抄手 is not spicy at all and the dumplings skin is on the thicker side. The soup for the mee sua taste good but light, quite suitable for elderly and kids. For instagram fans, dishes are pretty instagrammable, comes in cute jug and desserts nicely arranged.

Dajia Yam Filo Pastry Warm yam pastry with vanilla ice cream: great for older folks who doesn't fancy cold sweet dessert.

Atas Taiwan food Yeah. Restaurant that sell Taiwan street food. The crispy fried chicken was nice but it will be better if able to choose spiciness level. The marinated minced pork rice is normal.

Lousy One for one drinks but only for da hong pao milk tea. Please state properly in exclusion list.

Mushroom Combo Their Mushroom Combo actually quite extensive with everything they put on it. There’s black fungus, enoki, white & brown shimeji, shiitake and king oyster mushrooms.

Berkshire Pork Collar Sliced It is not too hard to choose from their meat options, which are not a lot but sufficient choices among beef, pork and chicken.

Coffee Jelly Black Milk Tea Coffee Jelly Black Milk Tea was a disappointment. Not only was there no distinct tea flavour, the coffee jelly were pretty much just jelly, with barely any trace of coffee. Will give this a miss and opt for the other options! ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Panko Canadian Pork Chop with Egg Fried Rice $14.5 This was well-executed - an extremely crisp and crunchy pork chop atop a bed of eggy short-grained fried rice which had a subtle whiff of "wok hei". Served with a side of dry chilli, it was most satiating, even for the hungriest of eaters. - Taste: 3/5

Chilli Oil Dumpling $9.5 A decent version with enough heat and spice in in the oil, the smooth skinned and plump dumplings are topped with addictively crunchy bits and chopped spring onion for added enjoyment. - Taste: 3/5

Oyster Omelette $10.5 I love oyster omelette but I didn't get along with this one - the omelette was thin, had only a few tiny oysters and a thin layer of almost jelly-like potato(or tapioca) starch beneath it which was most off-putting in texture. - Taste: 2/5

Coucou Hotpot🥢 Went to Coucou Hotpot last week and ordered their Sichuan Style Spicy Soup Base, Bovine Bone with Tomato Soup Base, USDA Choice Beef Shortplate, Pork Belly Slices, Chinese Cabbage, and Fried Beancurd Skin (total $132.90/2 pax after gst and svc charge)😇 Overall ratings 8/10! Would say that the food quality is good, and ambience is very cozy and private👍🏻 They have chinese tea served, and free flow mala mushroom and lu rou fan if if you include the sides buffet😋However, I would say that it is quite an expensive hot pot place😅 Recommended to come if you like a more private dining setting!

my current fav bbt fix at jewel the dahongpao & puer milk teas are damn aromatic👌🏼 but i decided to take a leap of faith and got the Pineapple Green Tea Smoothie w Sea Salt & Jelly ($6.30). it’s more slushie than smoothie but still RLLY RLLY GOOD we were all pleasantly surprised!
