misinformation regarding deals the restaurant is in entertainer app for 1-1 deals but the server did not allow this to be redeemed and had a lot of conditions, the deal of 1 free item could only be used if the total cost exceeds $30. and then the free item has to be not exceeding $15. so i was just a little surprised that the terms and conditions are that many when it is not stated on the entertainer app.

Yellow Curry Seafood ($18++) Miss K and I are big fans of Thai curries which come in many varieties. They share a common base of shrimp paste, lemon grass, galangal and other aromatics and it is the layering that gives each type of Thai curry its unique colour and flavour. We really liked Baan Kanom Thai's yellow curry seafood which features squid, fish, prawns and even crab! The rich and savoury yellow curry with its earthy and gingery turmeric flavours really elevates the rich and savoury seafood. I really cannot believe that this costs only $18!

Green curry omelette rice ($15.90), Basil crab meat omelette rice ($16.90) Green curry doesn’t hv meatballs only sliced meat compared to the green curry noods I ordered at bugis outlet. Prefer the meatballs.

Tomyum crabmeat noodles One of the more delicious Thai boat noodles I have ever had in a while! The noodles were chewy, and the dish was flavourful that tingles all your senses - sweet, spicy, and sour at the same time. So delicious!

Pad See Ew Moo The Pad See Ew Moo from Thai Gold Food at Bencoolen delivers a delightful experience with its wok-fired flat rice noodles perfectly coated in soy sauce. Each bite is savoury, featuring tender slices of pork and a generous portion of fresh vegetables, making it both satisfying and flavourful.

Pad See Ew Moo Pad See Ew or Thai stir fried soy sauce noodles is an extremely popular Thai street food dish. Whereas pad thai has a sweet and nutty flavour, pad see ew is meant to be salty and packed full of wok hei. Thai God's rendition of this dish is less salty than our versions. However, it makes up for this with a strong and bold wokhei flavour. Interestingly, they seem to use slightly larger pieces of flat rice noodles or kway teow which maximises the surface area for charring. The portion is on the small side but considering the price and location, I would consider as a great option for a quick and light lunch or dinner!

Green Curry Chicken Mention Sunshine Plaza and most people would think of Victor's Kitchen and their liushabaos. For those in the know though, Sunshine Plaza is actually a little food enclave with a eclectic collection of eateries. Thai Gold Food has been around for quite some time and attracts a dedicated clientale with good affordable Thai food in the city area. Their green curry chicken was decent. The green curry was creamy and aromatic and it came with loads of green. I did wish though that they used more substantial chunks of chicken rather than the scrappy bits.

Tasty 3-Course Set Meal - $23.80 for 2 pax! The 1-for-1 set meal for 2 pax was so value-for-money. For $23.80, we each got a main, drink and dessert. Ordered the Garlic Chicken Rice Bowl, Green Curry, Thai Green Milk Tea, Gula Melaka Tea Latte, Milo Shibuya Toast and Triple Dip Golden Toast. PenLaos Signature Grilled Chicken I seem to keep returning. I was more impressed by this chicken this time, perhaps because I took the thigh haha. Perfectly executed and lovely sauce.

Som Tam I seem to keep returning. Thai salads are not usually what I'd order, but in a group it's a fun eat.

Green Curry Chicken Pretty lemak and flavourful but too sweet for me. Was not too spicy.

Stir Fried Minced Chicken with Basil Leaves Very tasty and also spicy 🔥 🔥. My favourite dish so far here. Order this with white rice, enough for 1pax.

Mango Sticky Rice Warm coconut milk poured into the sticky rice. Mango were sweet. Great for dessert! Nice, would order again.

Tom Yum Kway Tiao Bee Hoon Fiery looking soup but it was not as spicy as I thought. It was on the tangy side and the meatballs are yummy! Would come back and try the other items soon.

Braised Pork Knuckle($9)😢 Looks promising but No, it wasn't as good as I had predicted. Meat & fats were barely soft, taste wise was more bitter than sweetness. Boat noodle at $1.50 per bowl. 4 Broths - Pathumthani (i prefer this- dark soy sauce based, sweet and sour), Ayutthaya (creamy and coconut based), Creamy tom yum and Sweet Kueh chap. You can choose between beef or chicken and springy noodle (maggie mee like) or rice noodle (i prefer this). Thai iced tea was good too. Lunch here means an hour of wait Slightly taken aback at how long food takes to get served, don't expect too much service and while it serves a mean Thai dish, it's not too practical to dine here on a work day. Tomyum spice was nice, comes with prawns but not squid. ($20+)
