The only bad thing about this is that they only have it at the Junction 8 branch! The crunch of the sesame seeds and walnuts perfectly complement the red bean paste, which isn’t too sweet.

For $1.90, this bun is one of the most generous portions I’ve seen! However, it’s not to my personal preference because the bun is super doughy (what was I expecting after all) and it really felt more like a bao rather than a bun. Also the red bean isn’t really the conventional red but more of a light purple colour.

I had this with 粗米粉 and really enjoyed it, especially the salted egg bits in the soup. Very fulfilling and warming!
