We were at #portico tonight celebrating a hens night. So we ordered at 8pm, 8 of us each ordered 2 courses - a starter and a main. At 8.45pm one starter came and because it was fries we all shared (too hungry!). At 9.05pm another starter came and was left to get cold because we Asians wait for everyone's food to arrive before tucking in (hello, you're not wagamama!). We complained and asked this not very happy to be there waitress and she said it's coming. 9.20 and another starter came. Finally could not take it and went to another lady who told us that our orders looked like they had been cancelled and there has been a mix up. So they refired everything and we only ate at 9.30pm! Never mind that, we were still missing a #quinoa salad and that didn't come till all our plates were done and cleared and only after so many reminders with the waitress!!!! Albeit they gave us a glass of #moscato each, but wtf service is this! And yes, I understand that you're rushing to get the food out to us as quick as you can put the plating was so horrible it looked nowhere near my last trip there. The beef cheek tasted like it had been over reduced, the pork belly was mediocre tonight and unseasoned. The quinoa salad was probably the best dish but was over salted and came when everyone was done. And the waitress! She gave the stink eye when she refilled our water each time and didn't even make eye contact while talking to us. We weren't even angry!! #nothappyjane
