This Japanese dessert cafe has everything under the sun — from kakigori to mille crepes — but the star has to be the Shibuya-style honey toasts. Take the signature Shibuya Honey Toast (RM18.90), thick and fluffy sugar-crusted toast drizzled in honey and crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, plus an extra on the side for good measure – simple yet delicious. Each order comes pre-cut into ready-to-eat pieces, which makes it easy to share with the table. The Chocolate Strawberry Toast (RM22.90) is another crowd-pleaser, loved for its Belgian chocolate toast piled with fresh strawberries.

Yummy Thick Toast!
Nicely Crispy on the outside topped with chocolate sauce and dusted with deco powder.
One serving comes with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. A scoop of ice cream on top and one more scoop on the side along with some whipped cream!

I had ordered Shibuya Honey Toast (RM16) which is cut into cube sliced, served with 2 scooped of Vanilla ice cream and laced with whipped cream. Crispy outer layer preferably the edges and fluffy toast makes it super good. Suitable to share within 2 to 3 persons. Glad that everything is reasonably priced below RM20.

Miru had opened for quite some time but still the hype is there, especially when they opened their second outlet at Pavilion. Was thought the outlet at Damansara Uptown will be less crowded but apparently the shop is still full of crowd, especially after dinner time. Food in frame: Shibuya Honey Toast (RM16), an original Shibuya Honey Toast topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Plus it is coated with a thin layer of butter sugar on top, which actually enhance the flavor of the toast. I don't think there is any negative comment on the dessert since it is really delicious. However, regarding with the portion wise, it is better to share at least two people for a toast. And also they serve the free flow of jasmine tea for every customers. It would be good if the table is not that sticky.
Recognisable by its white walls, Miru makes a wonderful locale to take the girls for delightful Shibuya toasts and long conversations. Don't miss the classic Shibuya Honey Toast (RM16). Much like a Japanese reincarnation of pancakes, the thick, fluffy toast is drizzled with honey and topped with vanilla ice cream. Perfectly portioned in ready-to-eat pieces, the toast is good shared between two to three people, be it for teatime or sweet supper cravings. The Chocolate Strawberry Shibuya Toast (RM18) also tempts with lots of strawberries atop a lavish Belgian chocolate-coated toast.
Avg Price: RM25

Here's your Shibuya Toast that is slightly hard on the outside yet warm soft and fluffy on the inside. Eaten together with 2 generous scoops of ice cream and strawberry, I feel like a happy kid again :)
