I was told great things about this drink, and it sounds pretty fantastic too – single origin coffee with frozen milk but it was a bit underwhelming. I found it a bit too milky, and the frozen bits took really long to melt and integrate with the espresso.
This was recommended by the staff as his personal fav, and if you’re looking for a super meaty option, get this. Under that thick layer of cheese (tbh I felt it was very unnecessary) is a well-cooked piece of pork cutlet, and under that, herby roasted potatoes.
Really great pork sausage, but not a fan of the carbonara – it was overly creamy. They have an aglio olio option for this, so maybe give that a try instead.
Recommended by the staff, this pork cutlet is strictly for sharing. That said, what looks like a massive slab of pork is mostly a blanket of stringy mozzarella (an overkill, really) atop a decent piece of pork chop. Beneath, some pretty tasty rosemary-soaked potato wedges. Wasn’t quite sure what the toast was doing there lol.
Delicious giant thing of a pork sausage; not so great carbonara — think excessive cream and not enough flavour. I did enjoy the use of radicchio, which gave the dish a nice bittersweet bite.
Single origin coffee with frozen milk sounds like a fab idea for hot days, yet this fell a little short in our books. Nothing against it, but it felt as if the coffee’s acidity gave it a slightly strange aftertaste.
