(Rating: 5/5🌟) Undeniably the best matcha x hojicha ice cream you can get in KL and it costs less than 10 bucks for two generous and delicious scoops! You can find it at Tokyo Street of Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur πŸ˜‰

Pavilion's Tokyo Street is made to emulate the Japanese city's own streets, and what would that be without a stop for green tea nibbles? Matcha Hero Kyoto comes to the rescue with their specialty offerings of matcha and houjicha drinks and ice creams. The small shop is marked by its unmistakable Japanese-style bamboo decor with a touch of greenery. If it's a hot day out, sneak up here for a cold, aromatic treat. The Noukou Matcha Ice Cream (RM9.50 for two scoops) is far creamier than one would imagine. Milky rich with green tea fragrance, this is one ice cream you will love very 'matcha'. For a roastier flavour, try the Houjicha Ice Cream (RM9.50 for two scoops), or go for one scoop each in the Mixed Ice Cream (RM9.50). Drinks run on the lighter side with mild, milky flavours so feel free to skip straight to desserts.
Avg price per person: RM10

Passed by this tiny shop a couple of times and finally came around to trying it. The menu includes a couple of different matcha, houjicha and traditional drinks. The flavour of houjicha was very mild and I could mostly only taste milk.
I'd say skip this and go for the rich, fragrant ice creams instead.
