More Reviews of good food at Long Beach KING Seafood Restaurant (Kallang)

😱😱😱 everyone's jaws absolutely dropped when this arrived on the table because it looked so ridiculously decadent yet mysterious. It even came with a totally extra centrepiece made with sugar to really amp up that wow factor! The flesh within the piles of cereal were huge and even our team of 11 people couldn't finish everything. The cereal was also really tasty and crunchy! This take on the tze char classic was a real showstopper at Long Beach!

Taste: Meat platter: Duck, Roast Pork, Char Siew, Chicken and Duck tongue. The best is their roast pork.

Atmosphere: Soothing atmosphere for dinner with spacious seating arrangement.

Service: Staff was very friendly and prompt to response. Food was served within 10 minutes. Great service!

Price: Unknown

rich & flav0urful s0up, sri lanka crab w0uld be a better ch0ice th0ugh 😜

This dish was quite bland, with a spiciness that I couldn’t identify if it was from chili or pepper. Gravy was the watery type.

One of my favorite dishes from Long Beach. The prawns were fresh and sweet. A bit of a hassle getting them out of their shells but it was worth it. Lots of eggy gravy to go with the hor fun. This dish has never failed me.

This dish was supposed to be a recommended dish but I really didn’t like it. The superior broth was way too salty for me. Vege was very bland and didn’t take on the taste of the broth well.

This Wei Cun chicken ($14) is my must-order every time I go Long Beach. The sauce was vinegary and sweet, much like gu lou yok, but not ketchupy. I love it with rice! The chicken had skin on, which was so crispy. I also love the fried quail's eggs. You won't find this gem on the menu.

I wanted asparagus but not with minced garlic. So got this asparagus with XO sauce. Add $2. Very worth it! The XO was spicy and fragrant. Paired perfectly with a bland vege like asparagus.

I ordered the fresh shrimp horfun but they gave me seafood horfun. They offered to change but I didn't wanna make a fuss. It was not bad. Good wok hei and the gravy was so eggy and savory. Quite a generous amount of seafood too. For those who don't wanna dirty their fingers peeling shrimp, this will be perfect.

This dish was quite ordinary, but nothing to complain about. I forgot to request for more garlic so it was my bad.

Long Beach is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. They serve great food at affordable prices. Always reliable. This roast pork was so succulent and had delicious crispy skin. Meat fat ratio was perfect. So juicy they always sell out fast. Grab them early!

As it's not a DIM SUM place, it's definitely not as good. However, I Guess if you were brought there like me, you might wanna give this a try! The general idea is like a fried carrot cake but way less oily, it has a very nice taste to it because of the well fried egg around the carrot cakes. Having a little crisp and light flavour of X.O sauce with each bite.πŸ€—

Worth the calories? I Guess this was one of those that I Guess I don't mind eating more there. πŸ˜‚ But their Liu Sha Bao was probably worth a mention. For those who prefer a more buttery taste. πŸ˜‰

Haha its orange!😊 haha but yeah it was like a love hate experience for me. When you eat it hot, it taste better with a strong scent and taste of butter. (If you like buttery taste, you might like this better). When you have it cold, it's bleh... Hahaha but yeah you are suppose to have it hot.πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

One of 8 courses of our family celebratory dinner from Sat night. Long Beach King has been very nicely renovated recently. And service is better than ever. #pearlspectives #pearlsphotography

The chicken was really tender and juicy, albeit a little small. The skin was crispy, and probably the highlight of this entire dish.

The sauce was really thick and eggy, but not too overpowering. It went really well with the fried mantou which had a thin crispy crust that made it so satisfying to eat.

The crab was fresh, really big, and quite meaty. The black pepper sauce was really fragrant and the flavour was really strong. As a result the meat had a lot of the black pepper flavour. One of my favourites, and I actually prefer it over chilli crab.

Laid across the top of the seafood flavour-imbibed "mee sua" was an immaculate cloud of egg white and fresh crabmeat dressed with crisp golden garlic bits. I could have done with more crabmeat (haha, who wouldn't!) but I have to say the combination of the egg white omelette with noodles was delectable.
