Nope, u ain't able to change the spread, not even opting for a pure kaya version as the buns arrived in ready-form at each outlet accordingly. I disregard the kaya butter ones as I find the butter seems to get soaked up in steamed, turning it soggy and damped! So I chose a kaya peanut version but the peanut oil was overpowering and the kaya was less generous here. I gave up on peanut!

Have u try the latest steamed kaya-butter bread? I still find the toasted ones appealing as the melted butter didn't taste too delightful, causing the bread to be soggy and damped. The mouthfeel is awful, like a baby food texture.

From The Handburger; u can now order food from 3 different eateries housed under the bigger but same unit. Pay at a standalone cash register (for Broth Asia Noodle Bar & The Handburger). The kopi is very very robust, full of deep caffeine punch! $1.80 per nostalgic mug!

Okay this UNION place unites the 3siblings: the soup spoon, Asia Broth noodle bar & the Handburger. Ordering can be slightly confusing, there's no cross-orders, this Kopi-O comes from The Handburger where u need to Q at the destinated counter and pay at another cash register. Why couldn't they unify the payment & ordering system, I don't quite get the concept besides displaying the brands more prominently.

A memorable breakaway from a longish day's work..

Not the usual French toast but something u may want to try when u yield for something savory. I like the light saltiness emitting from the picnic ham and the creamy melting cheese sandwich between 2 slices of crisp egg washed toast. Very bright in taste though slightly greasy. Guilty pleasure..

Not deep fried beancurd but golden egg washed French toast to dip in that green coconut jam aka KAYA! Moreish but slightly greasy.. C'mon unless French toast is steamed, otherwise it is politically right that they are oiled! Lol..
