You can never go wrong with their pour overs. Just ask the friendly baristas if you need help deciding!
Aside from swinging by for an always-good cuppa, I’m so glad Double Up’s near enough to restock beans in the office 👌🏻
Always enjoy myself at Keria. The sets are impeccable because of the Super fresh sashimi that comes with it. I particularly like their tempura - 3 Prawns, Shiso leaf, Mushroom, Lady's Finger, Eggplant and Sweet Potato - all expertly fried in the thinnest and crispest of tempura batters. Aside from this set, get an order of the Kaki Fry - battered and fried oysters that are just creamy and wonderful! Also can never leave without a plate of their Mentaiko Cabbage. If you're feeling indulgent and have about 4 people at your table, share their sinfully good Uni Spaghetti that's served cold.
Incredibly grateful that this little bakery exists in my neighbourhood. Their pastries are a little pricey, around $4-5 each, but they're excellently executed and are perfect for occasional treats. If you're in the area, definitely drop by and pick up a pack of fluffy Pandesal and some buttery pastries! Aside from these two, also really love their Raspberry Chocolate Croissant 😋
Very good kaya, very good kueh! Will totally come back for a tea time treat. The Kopi Siew Dai was excellent - very fragrant and just strong enough.
A must must order for any matcha lover! This seriously smooth matcha latte is made perfect with an espresso shot, it almost feels like a comforting hot chocolate...
Thoroughly enjoyed the two pourovers we tried here, an Ethiopian over ice and a Taoca Wahana (Indonesian beans roasted by Taoca Coffee). The baristas here are both knowledgeable and friendly, so don't be afraid to ask about the flavour profile of the beans to figure out which you would prefer!
One of my favourite places to stop by for a delicious snack. This places supplies the best pita in the country to some of the best restaurants, so you know you're in for a treat! My favorites are the wholemeal and za'atar pitas, served warm alongside their superbly creamy hummus. Say yes when he asks if you take spicy, and you'll be rewarded with a lovely dusting of chili powder. Loaded with whole chickpeas and hard boiled eggs, this was divine. I also loved the really simple, no frills environment, just sitting along the walkway at Bali Lane and snacking on these beauties 👌🏻
Omg guys this was so damn good, especially if you love chai. I wasn't expecting it to be executed so well, with a pleasant layer of foam atop a rich, spiced soy latte. It was almost like drinking soup (in a gooood way)! Try this especially on a cool day, it'll comfort you right away.
Topped with a super yummy whipped mascarpone and freeze dried raspberries, we really enjoyed this! There's jam in between too, and some luscious coffee custard for you to drizzle over. The best part was the unexpected earthiness from the thyme sprinkled on top, really nice touch!
This place may be known for their breads and toasts, but man, these guys make some seriously delicious baked goods. There's always something different each time I'm here, and today it's this salty-sweet chewy cookie that's just perfect with their Sidamo hand pour 👌🏻
A beautiful space to drop by for a calming cup of coffee and to browse pretty house things like plates, vases and cushions. They use Common Man beans here. Coffee was pleasant!
