Rempapa is one of my favourite restaurants thst serve a huge range of heritage dishes.

The sambal buah keluak is one of my favourites when paired with the turmeric rice. Alternatively, you could opt for their buah keluak fried rice which has a nice smokiness to it.

For the mains, i highly recommend the baca asaam (beef cheek) which is both tasty and tender. The mee anu (which is a new dish) was surprisingly flavourful.

Make sure to never leave the place without trying their desserts! I highly recommend the kueh bengkah, kueh salat, and kueh kosui.

Lastly, I would love to extend my appreciation to chef Damien for the food, and the service staff (Jeremy, Fadhullah, and Jane) for the amazing night!

I don't frequently do food reviews, but this may honestly be one of the best kbbq joints I've eaten in SG. The meats are really fresh, the service is impeccable, and the food is amazing!

That being said, it is slightly pricey, but if you are willing to splurge, do it here.

I ordered their kkotsal (prime special flower beef short ribs) - $45, yang nyum galbi (marinated beef short ribs) - $45, and their black pork set (5mm pork belly + pork collar + pork jowl + sliced pork belly) - $93.

All were great but i personally loved their marinated beef the most.
