brunch
waffles are a lil inconsistent, sometimes good sometimes bad but somehow their basic vanilla ice cream which is just some generic mass bought one is pretty good! love the vanilla flavour.
pls the drinks were so disappointing just don’t get. matcha is just sweetened matcha powder with milk i think bc that’s what it tastes like when i do it at home. chocolate was okay just standard
eggs benny here is a MUST get. i always order the same thing. smoked salmon bagel is alright. for a bread shop the bagel isn’t that good but the fillings were fine
worth with burpple one for one but q overpriced without. the katsu chicken was pretty good though but the meat to batter ration could be batter. ha ha
this was okay! my fave part was the quinoa/purple jap rice mix that was slightly sweet and flavoured from idk what but it was so good. the beef itself had quite a bit of tendons(?) i think so like a bit of inedible parts. personally i liked everything about this bowl except... the main (beef steak). also the teriyaki marinade wasn’t v strong and was rather absent but i personally don’t like my food too sweet/savoury so it worked for me. the beef was juicy tho. i would probably expect the salmon bowl (which has salmon in place of beef in this same dish) to be a hit. but for $20 ish nett i def wouldn’t come back. used burpple 1 for 1 so paid around half price. 6.5/10
pretty good! the bread was very fluffy and the sweet potato fries were good!! beef was pretty tender and meaty but wasn’t juicy enough
overall not bad considering the price! i think only $7.90? two beef patties which were rather thin and not exactly juicy but quite oily. pancakes were pretty good though, thin but as fluffy as these thin boys can get! overall too oily wouldn’t return but nice vibes
super good brioche toast very thick and soft and pairs well with the perfectly cooked poached egg. smoked salmon is basic but i prefer the pulled pork surf & turf! pulled pork supremacy
i LOVED their brioche toast… pls. so thick and heavenly. their eggs were perfectly packed and the right amount of hollandaise sauce. also THE PULLED PORK. my love. very well marinated and soft and tender and juicy and flavourful. the marination seeped into the bread making it a bit soggy but also ✨flavour✨ not that worth without burpple one for one tho. they used to have it and i went using 1-1. if not i wouldn’t return but it is good. but i would go to breadyard for the same thing at half the price
this was ok, pretty generous portion! overall q worth w burpple one for one but wouldn’t travel here j to try. worth trying if you just happen to be in the area and have burpple. vibes also not that great. wouldn’t wanna be chatting and catching up here for too long, it’s just as what it’s called, a diner
i always go for this when i come! the brioche bread is rly good and soft and fluffy and well soaked in the eggy batter, making a very fragrant french toast. the mascarpone cheese and fruits and berries really complement this dish and sets it apart from other french toasts. skip the thyme syrup unless you like herby flavours. and the toast + sides are already sweet enough!
quite average but not bad! nett prices here. a pretty generous portion of everything. tater tots were very nice and crispy. the star of the show was the sourdough bread which was toasted so well and had great flavour
