Tossed with orange and pomelo, the salad comes with a generous serving of smoked salmon. The sweet tangy combination made this a refreshing palate opener! ✨

Cooked in lobster bisque, the handmade tagliatelle comes with sweet Boston lobster flesh and baby scallops. This proved to be our favourite pasta dish and we couldn’t help reaching for more! 🦞

Packed with flavour and an almost smoky taste, this sautéed prawns impressed us. The fragrance of the garlic, spice from the chilli padi and crunchiness of the prawn 🦐 blended together well. It also came with grilled country bread 🍞

The signature truffle kombu fries needs no introduction! If you’ve visited eleven strands or south union park, you might already have tried this addictive dish. A must get when visiting! ✨

Another special dish that we tried, this squid ink risotto is packed with umami! You can find chunks of pan seared octopus leg hidden within 🦑

With a thin crispy crust and drizzled with honey, the tarte flambee is topped with bacon, caramelised onions 🧅 and mozzarella cheese 🧀 You can choose to get this with either tomato or cream sauce.

Freshly shucked, the creamy oysters came with orange wasabi dressing. Squeeze in the lemon for an extra bit of acidity 🍋

Had this dish at their sister restaurant previously. Pork ribs are tender and slathered with a generous amount of BBQ sauce 🐷

Serving coffee and all-day brunch, this cosy cafe at the foot of Mount Faber has indoor and alfresco dining areas ✨

We had the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 ($𝟭𝟳). Decorated with deep-fried lotus root and topped with poached egg, the juicy fried chicken is coated with a thin layer of batter. It sits atop a bed of buttery mashed potato.

We visited on a weekend evening and the place was fully occupied. Do head over early if you're visiting in larger groups.

Tossed in creamy tom yum sauce, the flavourful strands of pasta came with prawns and a good amount of mussels. The tom yum flavour is distinct, though we think it can be further improved by incorporating straw mushrooms into this dish! 🍴

We also many orders placed for the chicken stew and I'm lying if I said I'm not tempted 😝 Definitely on my list of things to try on my next visit!

The sister cafes (Fuel Plus+ and Refuel Cafe) also sell homemade apple crumble which I've been hearing good reviews of 🍎

Starting with a Japanese inspired dish, we tried the 𝗛𝗶𝘆𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗮 ($𝟭𝟵). This dish comprises of cold capellini with sliced gammon ham, shredded omelette, chicken breast and tobiko roe. Elevated by the fragrant garlic goma dressing, it is a healthy combination of vegetables. Alternatively, you can choose to go with their spicy sesame shoyu dressing 🇯🇵
