Italian
This post is probably more than a year late but I'm going to post it anyways.
Visited Monti for their brunch menu last year. With a classy interior coupled with a view of Marina Bay, Monti is a rather popular restaurant for dates, events, or even a venue to hold a small wedding. We opted for their Wagyu Beef Tartare, 12-hours Slow Cooked Beef Cheek, and Slow Cooked Pork Belly (& ravioli that I forgot which it was).
Overall, nice ambience, great service, ok food. The food were rather average and nothing really stood out to me. Probably a restaurant to go if ambience, view and service are more important criteria for you.

Dropped by Salmon Samurai for lunch and tried the Salmon Mentaiko with soba, topped with fish roe (~$11). There was a generous amount of metaiko sauce and I even took away the leftover sauce for my salad the next day. I enjoyed the warm torched metaiko paired with the cold soba and a slightly fishy taste from the bursting of fish roes. Will definitely be back here for lunch during the weekdays as its conveniently located at the basement of Ocean Financial Centre (the other outlet at 100AM).

After seeing an IG post on Bar Milano's Naples-style Pizza Fritta, I knew I had to try it!
Truffle Mushroom Pizza Fritta ($24)
The ingredients seem rather simple - mushrooms, ricotta, and a fried egg but it went so well with the fried pizza base. The fried pizza base was fluffy and crispy, without being overly oily. Highly recommend their Pizza Fritta!
Will definitely be back here one of the evenings to try their dinner menu & enjoy the old European vibe of the restaurant.
