Thai Food
The lunch set comes with a main, home made drink and mango sticky rice. I was disappointed with the prawn omelette as there wasn't really any prawns. I suggest they serve it with fried rice so that it is not so plain. I opted for the thai milk tea which was on the sweeter side. The mango sticky rice was a very small portion, perhaps 2 teaspoon of rice with few small slices of mango. Nothing outstanding on the food here. You can give it a try if u pass by the place.
I ordered the lunch set which comes with a drink and 2 mini spring rolls side. Their thai milk tea was quite authentic. The rice doesnt really have pineapple taste even though i see a few pcs of it. It tasted more like fried rice. They also added onion and carrots. Would recommend to try other stuff instead.
There are only 2 soup base either tom yum or the normal herbal. Can opt for egg noodle, rice noodle or tang hoon. The herbal taste was not strong and hard to pinpoint what the soup really taste like. The pork slices were tender. It comes with kang kong, bean sprouts and corriander. Overall, i think it's ok only. The moo ping was nice.
The fried rice was meh. Tasted like buffet fried rice. The omelette is nice and runny. The soup tasted like very bad MSG. We also ordered one skewer of moo bing ($2). It was well marinated and tender. I wouldnt come back for the fried rice.
Ordered the original version that comes with pepper. The glass noodles were really yummy, although I do wish they gave a little bit more as the portion was quite small. The scallops were really large and tasty as well. I recommend having them with the special chilli sauce they provide. Do be warned though, that chilli sauce is really spicy🔥
Total came up to $31.60 after service charge. Definitely you should try at least once, but I'm unlikely to come back again because it's really quite pricey
8/10
Ordered with less pepper since i can't take spicy. The prawns were huge and the shells are hard so difficult to peel. Not that the meat was stuck to the shell. The cooking takes awhile. It is pretty good but i find it abit pricey.
