This is also their pilot for a drinks programme, featuring an interesting hand-pressed coffee mechanism that extracts with a unique contraption. Being a fan of ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ ($7.50), I took the plunge and while I didn't get too strong of espresso notes, the crisp grassy umami notes of the Uji Matcha imported from Japan were so enchanting โ quite different from your usual matcha.

If you're looking for ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ($6.50) in the area, you'd know the other legendary bakery is in the same building. As far as comparisons go, these fudgy babies felt richer, though that decadent chocolate does mildly obscure the fillings in the overall profile.

Admire that sexy emerald ooze on these hefty Levain ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ($6.50) from Whiskdom. These were my favourite item from my recent visit to their spanking new outlet at Havelock II.
Biting into the cookie, you're welcomed by a thundering crackle, but as the teeth sink deeper you realise the insides were a sensual mix of soft chewiness and rich molten matcha. It's a bit sweet but there was a decent whiff of earthy notes to keep it from being too cloying.

The bake photos of fellow burppler @littlebignoms on Instagram is always mouthwatering. Was intrigued enough to pop by @lemuelchocolate for her

Slightly more cake-like in texture, it had a nice moist density to it whilst packed to the brim with chocolate intensity. Quite honestly, I think TBB isn't worth its hassle and this was a pretty good alternative, with a quirky flavour spin. Granted I've only had TBB and my own for reference.

Cinnamon crumble added a nice fragrant perfume and some textural layering with its cronch. That glistening milk chocolate truffle then gave some levity to this rich bake with a spirited aramel-tinged sweetness. Of course it can get a bit cloying as with most blackout brownies but these are for unrestrained indulgence. Waistline be damned.

Maybe not one of the best around, but theirย burnt cheesecake ($6)ย is an insane bang for your buck. Not to say itโs bad, since I found it one of the better ones I had. A nice controlled sweetness underscored by a gorgeously creamy mouthfeel โ denser but not cakey at all.

These ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ ($10/box of 8) from @lecafe_sg have been extremely popular in the past months, and it's not hard to see why.

That beancurd was consistently bouncy and silky โ just look at that perfect gloss. Tart was buttery and crumbled excitedly with a light bite. Really nice contrast and mixture of textures. ๐ฉ

A marriage of lao ban and egg tart, my childhood favourites. All I get are wholesome old-school vibes seeing them get married beautifully.
Hopped on the @bakerybrera hype train. Ye boi basic. But this ๐ต๐ผ๐ท๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ($8.50) turned out the good kind of basic โ wholesomely bittersweet, like my generic Joji playlists. ๐ฅต๐ค๐ป

The smooth creamy core was slightly denser so whilst it coated the tongue nicely, it didn't quite melt in the mouth. Its beauty was in the elegantly balanced richness, with a pleasant dosage of earthy tea fragrance layered snuggly under light sweetness.

Good enough for a return trip, compared other kinda supbar bakeries. Admittedly didn't live up to hype, though am I truly living the millennial life if I don't waste my time chasing pointless trends? ๐คกโจ
In comparison to the hojicha version, I found the original burnt cheesecake rather forgettable.

A good controlled dose of sweetness but perhaps lacking a bit in character. The texture is similar to the hojicha one, so whilst still enjoyable I would ride a few more stops on the Circle Line to The Kins' for my burnt cheesecake cravings instead.
