Burpple Beyond Hunts
$34 for what you see on this tray lol but the burgers were amazing (I loved the portabello one!) and the cheese fries were made with real cheese, not just the icky nacho cheese sauce type?!? Half-and-half drink was an odd mix but I also had the peanut butter milkshake and that was so filling that it could be a meal on its own lol.
Loved every dish we ordered. What a culinary experience!
The butter chicken and palek paneer here were really good! Paired it with their naans and we wiped out almost all the sauce haha. Get at least 2 naan per person. Butter chicken had generous amounts of chicken in it too! Burpple promo wasn't very worth it imo cos the butter chicken was $15 + $4.90 mango lassi so the savings aren't that much. But I would totally come back again cos this is one of the best butter chicken I've tried!
Pancakes were delish, fluffy and with crispy outsides! wasn't expecting them to be this good! Service wasn't fantastic but the food made up for it and my son enjoyed the meal. Dessert pancakes aren't part of Burpple promo so we paid $24 (GST and service charge included) for a $15.90 stack of 6 mint chocolate pancakes + $1.90 peach add-on + $5.90 flavoured latte. Will come back again!
Loved the beef rendang! Not spicy at all, and we mopped up every single grain of rice with the sauce. The basmati rice was a little plain but combine with the sauce and it's awesome! The beef was very tender, close to melt-in-your-mouth standards! The achar was also good. Would totally order this again!
Mushroom truffle pizza was surprisingly good. We weren't expecting much but it was actually not bad, and generous serving of rocket leaves with mushroom. A bit creamy so if you're not a fan then maybe pick their tomato base flavours instead. The CRUST WAS AWESOME.
Had the tonkatsu and mala. Tonkatsu was not bad, but broth tasted somewhat like Ajisen - nothing special. Mala wasn't a good combo, we're soup lovers but couldn't finish this.
My second time here, love the volcano rice! The Korean rice grains are small and super nice, also ordered the dumplings with different flavours to try š
The combination of soft mashed potatoes (tasted like they had butter in it), juicy mushroom slices and tender beef cheeks was AMAZING when eaten with the sauce. Super flavourful and yummy! MUST ORDER this dish when you're here!
We also had the squid ink pasta and topped up +$3 for the handmade tagliolini. But the pasta was only so-so. Small portion and taste was disappointing after reading the reviews that raved about their pasta.
Total was about $31 on Burpple 1-for-1, not bad and I'll totally come back for the beef cheeks!
Came here for a celebratory birthday dinner. Ambience and customer service was top notch! We had the Burpple special menu which consisted of stracciatella, lobster tagliolini (+$15), manzo (my husband's choice of main) and cioccolato which came served with 2 complimentary macaroons (raspberry and chocolate). Added on sparkling water (+$10) so the total damage for the night was $144. Loved it, and I'm still thinking of the stracciatella even up till now!
