We stumbled across this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. Really enjoyed the beef semur and the chilli that came with the keropok. The matcha lava cake at the end, topped up a lovely evening. Hope to revisit again!

Had dinner here on a weekday. Managed to get a table inside even though we walked in. Advised to make reservations in future. We had the fried snapper, pork collar and mushrooms. It was so filling and all 3 dishes were full of flavour. The best part was Burpple’s 50% off. Will be back to try their brunch items for sure.

Restaurant was quite empty on a Sat lunch time. Ordered the beef noodles and was pleasantly surprised! Soup was tasty and beef slices were generous. $9.90 for 2 bowls (1 for 1) was great value! Spring roll was also crispy. Will be back if they are still around!

Very good service from the staff! Made us feel at ease to enjoy an evening in this quiet part of Marina Square. We had the Duck confit and Hae Bee Hiam pasta. The duck was really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Hae Bee Hiam pasta was normal. Portion wise, it was a little smaller than average but the 1-for-1 made it a good deal!

A good steak is hard to come by sometimes. Here, I found a steak that is absolutely worth it with the Burpple 1-for-1. Generous amount of fries and veg to go with it. Service was prompt and restaurant gave a very good vibe, with a butchery next to it. Will return to try the other mains and coffee for sure!

Went on a Sun around lunchtime and it was crowded. Waited for about 20min with the online queue system so we could walk around. Food was good, with ingredients that justified its higher price point. Had the academics breakfast and salmon on rosti. Service was pretty cold, without any smiles and straight to the point. With Burpple, the 1-for-1 made it much more forgiving on the wallet.

This bowl was filled with the goodness of many premium ingredients (foie gras, unagi, truffle, ikura, wagyu beef, onsen egg). Well balanced flavours and presented in a cute Japanese bowl. We had the Burpple set which came with a pint of Asahi each for $98. Will be back to try the other items on the menu!

Had the shepherds pie and it was excellent. Lots of meat and potato was smooth and fine. Place was full on a Sun lunchtime. Good service and atmosphere too. Will be back to try the other mains!

Food is life.
