The pistachio colour looks a bit off…. So maybe it wasn’t fresh. But still tastes good, not too sweet. Worth it with the burpple deal ~ do make sure to check the opening hours. Shop was open on a Tuesday but was unable to redeem the deal because of the opening hours listed on burpple.
There is only the premium buffet now and was around $43 per pax before Burpple (~$34 with Burpple). Didn't really find it worth because the quality of the food was not great. The soup was not nice too, had to add lots of veggies to make it taste sweeter. The beef chuck roll was very gamey, would suggest to avoid it...
Got the chicken pie, mushroom pie, ispahan eclair, Paris Brest eclair, earl grey latte and hot chocolate with the Burpple offer. The drinks were not great. Early grey latte tasted diluted. The chicken pie and the eclairs were good. Paris Brest tasted like kinder bueno.. preferred the ispahan which tastes like bandung. Mushroom pie was not as hot as the chicken pie so it didn't taste as good. Went on a Saturday close to 12 and we were the only ones there for awhile.
Ordered the pork basil rice, beef boat noodles, Kang Kong and green curry. Didn't like the pork basil rice. The Kang Kong was not bad and the rest were just okay. Found it quite pricey even with Burpple deal
Ordered the yam, coffee and Earl grey egg tarts. Arrived around 1pm and only those flavours were left. The service was good and egg tarts are yummy.
Ordered the duck pho and pork salad. Didn't like the pork salad, found it salty and some veggies / herbs were quite strong tasting. The duck pho was not bad! Affordable with Burpple. Was quite empty on a Thursday night, no need to make reservation
Was quite pricey even with burpple. Paid ~ $18 for this. We had the pu er, pistachio, hojicha and earl grey. Need to top up $1 for each premium flavour (pu er & pistachio) but actually preferred the non premium ones. Found the waffle & pistachio a bit too sweet. Serving size was very small. The scoop of Ice cream was hollow in the centre… Won’t bother going back
Got these two flavours after reading the other reviews. Coconut was great and had bits of coconut flesh inside. On the other hand, the salted Butterscotch was okok.
Texture of the pasta is good ~ we liked the mentaiko sauce. The truffle Cacio e Pepe was too peppery. Burpple one for one deal is for tasting portion, but you can order full portion and they will discount the lowest value tasting portion. Above is full portion. Service was good.
Would recommend the aiyu jelly lemon tea. Sour and refreshing. Prefer the fruit tea to the mochi drink. Mochi was a bit hard. Worth it with burpple. Can mix the sizes to match value.
It’s the same shop as Chong qing grilled fish. Affordable and yummy mala. Service was good, lady manager was nice. Paid around $13 for this after 30% burpple discount. Worth it!
Ordered oyster mee sua, instestine mee sua and chicken cutlet rice. Used the Burpple one for one so it was very affordable. However didn't enjoy the food. The food is not flavourful. Prefer shilin.
