Korean Kraze
Aside from their signature soondubu stew, the kimchi pancake is something you shouldnāt miss. The bright orange kimchi pancake was super crispy on the exterior and loaded with generous amount of assorted seafood and kimchi bits.
If you are someone who enjoy spicy food, we would highly recommend you to opt for the kimchi pancake over the Korean seafood pancake as the slightly sour and spicy kick from the kimchi nicely complement the seafood. This is definitely worth your every calories!
Nothing spells happiness like a bowl of hot comforting stew on a rainy day~ š² We would highly recommend going for the combo meal as it is highly value for money. The combo comes with your choice of main, soondubu stew, hot stone rice and an array of side dishes. As they are very generous with their portion, a combo meal should suffice for 2 small eaters like us.
For our combo, we opted for a mildly spiced beef soondubu stew and orange chicken. We were totally delighted when we took the first sip of soup. It was super rich and so full of umami flavour! Using the most premium soybeans harvested in Paju, the freshly made tofu were silky smooth and disintegrates the moment you put it into your mouth. Definitely one of the best stews we tasted in Singapore so far!
How is it that korean fried chicken always tastes this good?! The orange chicken we opted for was super crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The sweet and tangy orange sauce that coats the boneless chicken chunks were perfectly seasoned and kept us going back for more! We were super full and satisfied at the end of the meal and would surely be back to try the other items on their menu š
Finally satisfied our craving for jjajangmyeon after seeing it appearing numerous times in korean dramas! The noodle was chewy with generous amount of black bean sauce, onions and meat. We also ordered the jjampong, which comes with the same yellow chewy noodle as the jjajangmyeon. We loved how the broth was flavorful and not overly spicy! These two bowls of simple dish have brought back such fond memories for us, got reminded of the meals we had during our exchange in South Korea āŗļø
