Pork belly was well stewed, absolutely melt in your mouth.

4.50 per bowl. Add 50 cents for extra vegetables

Not the cheapest lok lok on offer, but still very tasty.
Each stick deep fried and doused in msg powder for that extra kick.
Has a wide variety of sticks.

Ranging from 1rm to 5rm each.

Drinks easily available from shop itself, or nearby petrol statoon

Pretty reasonable, $1 per vegetable dish, another 59 cents for rice.
Chili has a good kick.

But can be a bit oily at times

$5 for 4 vegetable dishes. Enjoyed the richness of the gravy.
Generous amounts!

Where can you find $4 hokkien mee/fried rice/hor fun in dhoby ghaut?
With air con too?

Ask for less oil.

Fishball minced meat noodles from Tanjong Pagar Teo Chew Fishball Noodles ($3.50nett). It's in the middle section, next to a drink stall.

Lots of ingredients. 3.50 gets you 3 fishballs, 1 meatball, minced meat and slices of fish cake.

Good balance of flavours. Note that this isnt barchormee.

Each set is $1.30.
Cheap and good. Surprised that each siew mai and har gao had one succulent prawn each. Each bowl of porridge also had century egg AND minced pork.

The yam cake felt a bit too floury. But cant complain with that price.

Would definitely come again to try the rest

Taste is good. Ask for less oil though.

Price wise is ok. 14.70 for meat, 2 veg, noodle, rice, tapioca, beancurd, 2 mushroom.

But zhong la might not be spicy enough for some people.

Order the mee goreng thai if normal mee goreng is not spicy enough. Instead of the red sauce, mee goreng Thai is cooked in a dark sauce which has an added kick due to the fresh cut chillis. It also has chicken chunks in it for your protein fix.

Mutton soup ($5) from new world mutton soup at berseh food centre.

Good if you like the herbal taste in soups. Would recommend adding extra pepper for an extra kick.

Bonus points too because soup was refillable for free!

Oyster cake with extra filling, $2.50

The cake is deep fried to golden brown perfection. Inside is packed with an oysters, prawns and minced meat.

Ask for the extra filling one because its better value money. And pro tip, ask for ikan billis toppings instead of peanuts. Then there'll be an extra burst of flavour in every bite thanks to the ikan billis on the top of the cake.

How do you take nice photos when you're hungry?
