Japanese
Great if you need a quick lunch.
Order was done in less than 5mins
Dine in even had a glass of hot tea too.
Medium gyudon for 4.9.
They even have a smaller one at 4.2 too!
Eat it on the spot and taste the well marinated but juicy chicken karage.
Chicken katsu don was also tasty and not dry at all too!
Was pleasantly surprise to bite into salmon chunks when tasting the miso soup.
Enjoyed the chicken karage more than the ebi one. Felt the ebi had a bit too much batter.
Food tasted clean, wasnt overly salty. Decent lunch
Ordered the garlic fried rice.
The beef was very tender and had that melt in your mouth quality.
And the fried rice had the right amount of wok hey and was nicely coated with the garlic oil which made each mouthful bursting with flavour
Deep Fried Gyoza ($5.50 Nett For 4 Pieces)
Taste was decent, and it wasnt very oily either.
Would recommend their ramen too!
Ordered the salmon fin doburi ($18 for 2) and chirashi don ($15 for 2)
Salmon was nice, with a sweet teriyaki sauce. Some might find it too overpowering though.
Space is small. So call ahead to make reservations.
Portion was HUGE and generous. Too much that I'm embarassed to say we didnt finish our rice.
Cutlet was very juicy and tender. Not dry at all. Moistness of the meat was well contrasted with the crispiness of the well breaded skin.
Lamb was very rich in flavour, without a gamey taste or texture. Enjoyed it.
You might want to ask for less gravy or for rice to be served separately as i felt the gravy made the rice slightly mushy.
Do note you'll need to top up a dollar for spicy sauce. Didnt find it very spicy though
Wagyu beef was well marinated and the flavours burst in your mouth. I'd recommend just eating the beef separate from the rice and egg to fully embrace all the flavours of the meat.
Tempura prawn was absolutely succulent and juicy.
Get the cold noodles for their refreshing effect. Hot one is nothing special.
Do note the deal is only for the rice and noodle sets.
Recommend to make a reservation because it can get quite crowded.
