Drinks
The alcoholic drink menu is pretty extensive, at least a few pages long, with only a few non alcoholic options. The martini here was alright, not the super potent ones but yet with a good splash of alcohol.
With the regular hot latte at $5, prices are pretty standard. Except it’s made much more affordable with Burpple beyond. Not the best coffee you can get in CBD but wouldn’t say no to a one-for-one if I’m in the vicinity.
The drinks here are not the best value, especially when you have the cider pit a walk away. Also would rather have my beers ice cold.
A serious coffee place for serious coffee lovers. The menu is lean with only a few kinds of coffee on the menu, and a small selection of pastries. The coffee here is bold buttery and chocolatey. Just the way I like it.
A zhnged version of your usual latte, this sugary coffee came with some floral undertones. Dont let the meringue melt into the coffee or I reckon it'll be overly sweet.
Looks really nice when served but once the brown sugar gets all mixed up its like any other drink. Sugar level is standard. You can get small or large pearls, or a mix of both. Tastes nice but you wouldn't expect less at that price point.
They were having a 1 for 1 promo so why not? Both really nice girly drinks great for washing down their spicy food.
Both were awesome. The grape tea was more interesting as it had a rich and mature tea undertone yet still retaining a sweet and cutesy profile. The melon latte with hokkaido milk was so fragrant, like having hokkaido melon ice cream in liquid form.
You'd think charging $9 for a cup of their spanish ice latte would deter the crowd, but not here. The quality speaks for itself. Coffee is smooth, strong yet not overpowering. Spanish latte is their specialty, and comes with just a tinge of condense milk. But don't worry it taste nothing like the 90c kopi from your local coffeeshop.
A really pretty drink, but the layers segregate pretty quickly so you get tea at the bottom, and mainly ice in the middle. Flavours were light so even this large cup is good for one. Cheese cloud was the standard but delicious as always.
Stated on the menu as a soya-tofu-granola blend. The taste was reminiscent of lao ban tau huay with an alcoholic tinge. Nice but a pitifully small portion barely amounting to slightly more than half a cup after allowing for the foam on top, but I guess it all contributes to its exquisiteness and leaves you craving for a second drink.
