Breaking Brunch
Must-order-dish!
Crusty bread, topped with oozing cheese & gooey sunny-side egg. Eat all the 3 in one bite and you get your perfect start for the day.
Don’t forget to try the donut & jam to prevent you feeling too jelat.
Tldr - the savoury croissant was not bad, but the sweet option is still my go-to
The croissant was crunchy, yet served cold. I prefer my croissant to be warm and soft, with the melted cheese and ham.
Tried this pink lemonade. Taste like normal lemonde, but diluted. Their rosti was ok but nothing stood out.
Too dry and too little salmon. The penne was baked with tomato sauce and served with shaved cheddar with some hidden some salmon cubes. However, the overall dish was too dry so definitely would not go back here when I am craving for comfort food.
Chocolate + Coffee + Mint = Wicked Mocha
Never tried this drink anywhere before so definitely try it while you drop Ronin! It’s wickedly effective to wake me up from my morning sleepyhead.
I really the ambience, especially the huge table where 10 people can sit together. Best place to have morning conversation with some interesting strangers. No wonder this place is super popular within expats community.
A little disappointed when my food was not served warm. The chorizo was okay yet the beef was not juice as I expected. Poached eggs were perfectly done, yet I wish they were warm. Brioche is quite nice, crunchy skin yet tender bread. The star of the dish is really the potato! I like how the potato is seasoned and roasted.
TL;DR - order the one with chef head icon (Wild Honey signature dishes). This Spanish is definitely not.
Must try! Served warm with savoury yet milky mentai sauce. The portion was quite huge, abit jelat for me. Probably best shared among 3-4 people.
My favourite place for early brunch as they open at 9 on the weekend & public holiday!
Located at Chijmes vicinity, the Glasshouse is one of the perfect places to start your weekend vibe.
The food selection is limited. Mostly are toasts with sourdorough. The ham & cheese croissant (with omelette add-on) was decent, while the carrot cake and lavender cake were quite filling.
Definitely recommended the coffee though!
Tips: come before 9.45, as the crowd exponentially grows after 10 am; otherwise you have to share table with others.
