Decided to order more skewers because what’s izakaya without skewers?¿

Tried the chicken heart and gizzard this time round and boy they taste fantastic!!

Gizzard has a more chewy texture while the chicken heart is more tender. Would recommend both! Wouldn’t post any if I’m not recommending so... 😗

the potato is well coated with the mentai sauce and it’s extremely flavourful. no wonder it’s a hit!

Really filling even though the bowl of the don might look a little small, but don’t be fooled by the amount of food they serve you!

Utilised BB’s 1 for 1 deal. They’re really generous with their salmon. But other than that, it just taste like another bowl of don buri. totally worth it if you’re using the 1 for 1 deal on burpple :)

The place itself was a little hard to find, and sad to say central mall seemed deserted with only a few restaurants around the vicinity.

The interior of Manpei, however, has a nice Japanese set up and it makes you feel relaxed while dining there.

Moving on to food, the best part about this dish was the chashu as it had a nicely charred flavour to it. The noodles and soup are just average.

The total bill amounted to about $18. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable bowl of noodles 🙂
