Nice flavourful goma soft serve from Tsujiri. It may looks greyish and not black enough but the goma taste was quite strong.
Signature char siew with their special sweet sauce and it did indeed live up to its name. Their char siew did āmelt in my mouthā and i cant differentiate whether am i eating a part of their meat or it is the fats. ššš¼
Chicken thigh skewer from this yakitori joint. Huge smoke flying out from this stall yesterday when we are there and attracted me to join in the q! Had a bite and it give me a surprising WOAH! Super duper tender chicken thigh meat that literally āmelts off your mouthā! Not much chewing is required and you can just swallow it without much hassle. One of the best surprise i had yesterday night!
Had their traditional ones with gula melaka. Not too sweet and the powdered skin is super fine and soft! Totally a convert from the love of tutu kueh! Paired it with the shredded coconut on the side to give another texture to your tastebud.
Traditionally putu puring only has gula melaka flavour filling but now, this traditional old stall has given a modern twist and give a choice of durian!
Super generous with their fillings and it tasted superb when it is hot!
All the way from tanjong pagar to RWS, Rolina curry puff is one of my top list to try snack ever since i saw them on the michelin bib listing! Totally love their skin, thin and crispy! Something i have not tried before and yet the skin can hold so much ingredient.
First time trying and i am in love with their boiled wanton! Is soooo good, love the freshness and softness of the wanton meat. Noodle is very tangy and coated with their special homemade sauce that is savoury yet has a tinge of sweetness.
As a saying goes, it takes 2 hands to clap and this phrase definitely tell the whole relationship of these pair. Thick slices of US beef was roasted to medium and paired it with New Ubin signature heart attack fried rice. A mouth of slightly chewy beef meat and another mouthful of nice fragance rice added another dimension to the taste. Though, i must say, the fried rice is a tad too oily because of the beef lad.
