Korean
Burger bonanza ($7.95)
Combo comes with chicken katsu sandwich and kimchicks (kimchi flavoured popcorn chicken). The sandwich seemed like a fried mantou, which is well fried and goes well with the chicken katsu and the kimchi flavoured “coleslaw”. Very well balanced! The kimchicks is deep fried well, but lacked abit of salt. Overall, a satisfying meal!
6 pc chicken wings ($8.45)
Bought these wings ala carte. Chose the mixed seasoning so theres hot and also the garlic soy. Like the mix because the hot sauce is really very spicy! Wings are fresh and overall a good meal for korean fried chicken.
Kimchi seafood soup ($7.50)
Korean seafood soup comes with rice and free flow kimchi and cucumbers. The free flow kimchi and cucumbers are not very well marinated, cucumbers quite tasteless and the kimchi is not spicy but rather sweet. The soup itself is not spicy at all and i had to add extra chilli powder to make it richer. The prawns are also not very fresh. Overall didnt feel like this is a good place for Korean soups though its usually quite crowded.
Beef and veg sundubu ($19++)
Can choose the base and level of spiciness. Picked level 2 and miso base. The mix was just nice for me. Liked the combination of beef shabu slices with veg like cabbage and corn. Overall not cheap but taste wise one of the best korean tofu soup around!
Tofu Sundubu ($8):
Soup is rather spicy, might be too spicy for most people. Not much tofu in the soup, but there’s a decent amount of pork. I would expect more quality & food quantity from this, since it cost $8.
12 PC combo (with 2 seaweed fries and 2 coke)- $21 on deliveroo excluding delivery charge)
The chicken were well marinated and still crispy upon arrival. Satisfied and really finger licking good!
Beef and veg soup ($6.80)
Comes with rice. The soup is nice and lots of ingredients including spinach, beef, bean sprouts and vermicelli.
Worth the price!
Korean seafood soup ($6.50)
Soup had 3 prawns and much veg inside but not much other ingredients. Prawns not fresh but taste of the soup was average. Likely wont order again.
Spicy sliced pork set ($5.50 on promo)
UP $6.50
Comes with substantial amount of meat. Taste could be stronger. But ok for the price paid.
Soy sesame chicken bowl ($8.90)
No kimchi was available which is disappointing. Chose the 5 sides beansprouts, pickled cucumbers, carrot, corn and spinach. Portion was substantial. Added the spicy omma gochujang sauce which made everything very tasty!
Beef Bulgogi Bibimbab (U.P: $9.90):
Chose main (beef bulgogi), 5 sides (spinach, pickled cucumber, cabbage, beansprout and corn) to go with gochuchang sauce. They provide you with the sauce separately in bottles, so you get to customize the flavour to your liking. The beef is rather fresh, tender with a good amount of fats. Most of all it is 1-for-1 with Burpple Beyond! So worth it! I will definitely come back here!
Jjamppong ($14++)
Very very slight spicy only. There were mussels squid and shrimps inside.
Would like the soup base to be stronger in seafood taste and more spicy. The soup base was also a little too garlicky.
