The burpple premium set comes with a don, mentaiko ebi, miso soup, green tea and a salad. Even though the don was nothing exceptional (could have done with more seasoning in my opinion), the fish is rather fresh, and i really enjoyed the mentaiko ebi.
I think it is quite worth it with burpple beyond!
The burpple beyond set meal for two costs $59++ and it comes with (i) plump fresh oysters - the sauce was light and delicious (ii) mentaiko scallops - the sauce is to die for! (iii) beef sukiyaki rice bowl - this was pretty average in my opinion! (Iv) a choice of red/white wine or beer.
The starters were really the highlight for me, and it was made really worth it with the burpple deal!
This donburi comes with salmon belly, aburi salmon and salmon sashimi and ikura! It was a good tasting dish overall, although they really could be more generous with the sashimi slices!
The yakitori served here is also really yummy
This matcha ice cream was really really intense. Personally did not enjoy it very much because it was too bitter for my liking, but some people love it for its intense flavour!
This is big enough for 2/3 people to share! Is worth an experience, but might not travel just to eat this because the food served was cold and was overall, only pretty ok. Not the best quality shrimps/fish, but large quantities are a bonus i guess!
Santouka is my favourite ramen place in singapore! The soup is flavourful, the noodles are hard and springy (i like mine springy as opposed to type of noodles that resemble chinese la mian)!
The char siew is also good :) it is just a very hearty bowl of comfort food! 10/10 would recommend :)
The food was very flavourful and the ambience is very relaxed/casual!
I think that it is worth it for its price point as everything (at least the cooked food that I ordered) is generally executed quite well.
Good for family/friends gatherings/casual date nights!
$98++ for 17 courses that include uni, sashimi, salt baked wagyu, cod, otoro, snow crab, oysters etc? I am sold.
The items served were very fresh so it is really worth it in my opinion! The beef dish was really good as the meat almost melts in your mouth.
It is a casual, fun experience (the servers actually hand feed you some items off a spoon haha). The chefs are not japanese so its not for those looking for a more authentic, serious, classy omakase experience! Regardless, for its price, i think its still worth a shot!
This bowl basically contained all my favourite foods! Wagyu beef, foie gras, onsen egg, uni and caviar.
Every part was rather well executed, but the uni wasnt the freshest, and was definitely expecting more when im paying $100 for a bowl!
Regardless, was a good dish overall :)
The fish slices were firm and fresh! Was decent for its price.
If you're looking for a fuss free meal or working on a tighter budget, try their $10 bara chirashi don! You get quality fish for a v affordable price :)
Was very worth it for its price! The fish is fresh and firm, and the rice was nicely seasoned.
The cute bowl is a bonus of course :)
I love teppei syokudo! My to-go toppings are salmon and whelk! The whelk provides an added crunch, which i love
