This sweet appam was a beautiful way to end our meal! Fluffy in the middle, and crispy round the edges, Aa Li Ya’s sweet appam comes topped with creamy coconut milk and chunks of gula melaka.
Fluffy rice with chicken and vegetables, all wrapped and steamed within layers of banana leaf. The spiciness cuts through the overall heaviness of the dish. Best shared between two people. Pair it with their crab dish for a truly decadent meal.
A new addition to the dinner menu, and it’s immediately become one of my must-have dishes on a visit to Li. Charred broccoli sits atop a bed of broccoli purée, and is topped with almond flakes, cayenne pepper and micro greens.
A great starter, just to take the edge off the hunger. The pâté is smooth, and the taste of mackerel is well balanced with the other ingredients.
