A typical herbal broth based noodles of a sufficient quantity to be filling and at the same time budget for the wallet. This would suit those who aren't looking for a thick and strong herbal taste as this feels slightly more diluted kind. But overall, still a comforting meal during raining season
Savoury > Sweet . But it's slighty too greasy, hence a less oil version 2.0 might be a more preferable option . With the noodles being more than satisfactory, this could not be said for the same for the huge prawn that was served along with it as it was soft and mushy. Apparently, their ingredients used aren't as fresh as they looked like 😔
Herbally and flavourful broth to comfort one's soul during cold and rainy days. More soup please!
Topped with thin sliced pork, pork balls and some veg, this would be an amazing dinner to end off a hectic work/sch day.
The lemongrass was fragrant and flavourful esp when paired with the sweet chilli sauce. Overall, food was satisfying and homey.
Two strong competitors for Thai food in Bedok when they are just 2 stores apart from each other. However Nangfa seems to win the popular vote as compared to Nakhon when i could see the difference in customer base at lunch hours. Blessing for the east siders who would just enter the shop with lesser queue when you're too lazy to queue. Be prepared to endure long waiting hours if you aren't there minutes before the opening hours! However it's definitely worth the queue as all the dishes were on point , particularly the Pandan wrapped chicken. It's so hard and rare to find such savoury and aromatic chicken while maintaining its juiciness and tenderness. Nett prices still but slightly more premium than the usual ones , esp when their thai milk tea costs $3/cup
Just recently shifted to a more accessible place, located near the Exit of Bugis (DT14). Have read many reviews raving about how authentic their food was , despite more costly than the famous Nahkon Thai. But true enough, my friends mentioned that their food tasted similar to what they had in Thailand! However guys remember to self-service at the cashier & place a reservation before going since there will be limited seats available.
YAYY to nett prices Thai food ! Cheap and good food is always the first option for meal time 🕰Fried green curry chicken rice for $6 with the taste on point👍🏻 but too soggy already. OHHH and the Ice Thai milk tea only costed me $1.50?! TOO CHEAP already
