Just Food
Opted for students’ promo which included free flow toppings and drinks with a choice of a dessert. More worth it to eat in groups of at least 4 as just the first round left us, 2 girls very full. Dessert had choices of either plum or grape jelly. Both weren’t too sweet unlike most jellies. There were quite a variety of ingredients included. What I liked most was the cheesy ring though after awhile of cooking, the texture and taste was similar to that of a steamed egg. There’s also free follow of appetisers (free of charge, buffet style) of consisting of kimchi and vegetable salad. Paid around $32 in total for just 2 of us, inclusive of GST which wasn’t really worth it as the “free flow of toppings” doesn’t really apply to us
Overall was awesome. I had actually came down to this restaurant to eat almost every week till the staffs knew us well. I still remember my first impression of this place. The food there are at affordable prices with option of free flow soft drinks at $2.50, otherwise you can just take the Korean hot tea/plain hot water, also free flow but free of charge. The food taste really good. What I had today is just one of my favourites which is also quite cheap and worth it, just $7.50. Almost every set/dishes comes with 2 portions of kimchi and the dried chilli ikan bilis. I like the kimchi a lot as it tasted like the real one. If you’ve been to Korea and tried the kimchi there, you know how it tastes like. Except I’d say Korea’s was much more saltier.
The staffs there are also extremely friendly and always greet customers with a welcoming smile. Their service are extremely good. Food are always served shortly after ordering, within 5 minutes unless during peak hours which might take few minutes more.
Finally, you can get 5% cash back on total amount by using Favepay to pay for the bill.
Chicken one ($14.90) was not bad, quite a lot of ingredients except that the rice cake was very little, about 3-5 slices. Not the thick round chewy one but the very thin small slices which didn’t satisfy me. Normal spicy level which wasn’t very spicy at all.
Seafood ($17.90) was kind of bad. My dad totally disliked it as it was too spicy for him even when he stated “less spicy”. The ingredients were okay to him except for the fact that it consist of mostly “junk food” like hot dog, luncheon meat, etc which is normal in army stews. The pricing was not really worth it for the taste, from what my dad thinks.
