Ordered Beef Slice Med $9.90 + $2.50 to make it a meal set. Set comes with 2 mini spring rolls & drink tea/coffee/lemongrass. Give a hot lemongrass less sweet a shot, it’s quite comforting.

Pho taste quite good, the only thing is service was very slow. Been sitting quite a while, didn’t been served a drink. I have to asked few times, and yet to find out they made hot drinks by putting it up in Microwave. What a surprise 🤭

I came across Tanjong Pagar neighbourhood, so decided to have dinner at Tanjong Pagar Food Center level 2. Not much stall open at night, so you left with a few choices only.

Seems Thai Food would be a good choice, however when I ask for recommendations from the lady owner, her reply was so unpleasant. Everything nice! I don’t know what you want, with ignorant face. I was surprised of her reply and decided to pick Thai Fried Rice on the spot.

She pointing her finger to 2018 Michelin Food Badge in front of her stall, and proudly brag. Honestly, heck care if you have badge..so what?

The fried rice is below my expectations, lack of flavour and the side meat is cold and turned hard. The score for the food is 7/10. And the service 4/10.

Overall experience is 5.5/10.
I wouldn’t want to visit this stall again.

Dropped by here since I’ve noticed a lot of patrons. They have spacious dining space and menu variety. Typically I’m skeptical about thai milk tea as normally it’s too sweet. Surprisingly it’s not, just the right amount of tea & sugar. The price is quite affordable.

For the fried glass noodle, it’s a small portion. Not much going inside the plate. To me it’s not a satisfying portion. Need to look for other things to fill out the hunger.

Flavourful & tasty tom yum fried rice, I love the aroma and texture. For an extra kick, you can add chilli padi soy sauce. My Thai food craving fulfilled here ✌🏼

Knew this place from HungryGoWhere deal, booked for certain date but I came at the wrong day. Otherwise it would be only $1.90 for a bowl of Pho or Rice Dish.

Located at the Geylang road stretch, the downside of this place is the waiting time. Very very long, don’t know what’s happening in their kitchen. And the staff not very fluent in English.

Else, it was a good bowl of pho and quite flavourful. Only thing there’s sliced of hard veggies inside the pho soup. The waiter said it’s kangkong stem, but i doubt so.

Many Vietnamese patrons also visited this place, some of them ordered grill set, perhaps would try next time.

I was craving for fried rice, and this place suddenly came into mind. Visited it before long time ago and the taste still memorable.

Chicken Fried rice $5, I like the rice grain & how they cooked the rice. Definitely you can taste the MSG which gives this dish a punch of umami flavour. Next time, I plan to order their Tom Yum fried rice as it looks quite appetising when the waiter served it to another table.

The service is quite friendly, she asked me if I want warm or cold water as free complimentary.
Walking out from the shop with only $5 bill. What a satisfying meal.

Personally I loved anything savoury and Thai food always given me this satisfaction. Came across this place when I was browsing Burpple Beyond lists and read many good reviews.

Ordered main 1-for-1 crispy kangkong and clear tom yum soup since my husband can’t eat spicy . On top of it, ordered a steamed seabass with chilli & lime. The taste quite refreshing as they used lots of lime, and the fish is quite tender.

The crispy kangkong came with a dipping sauce which quite delectable and savoury. The less favourite diah was the clear tom yam soup with chicken. The soup was thin & sour only, without any ‘kick’ factor.

All in all, it was a pleasant meal and only cost $23.50 for total bill. Happy tummy yet happy wallet!

Ordered their signature mazesoba, the ramen comes with a creamy soft boiled egg, spicy minced meat, a field of spring onions, shredded nori and springy ramen noodles.

Add vinegar and chili oil (for extra kick) right before you eat, mixed well and you’ll experience the perfect combination of noodles, sauce, oil, chili oil and vinegar.

A bowl of Mazesoba Nagoya Style is priced at $12.80, the portion was quite substantial and their soup quite comforting. The downside is the dish (soft-boiled egg & minced meat) not served warm when arrived at the table. It could due they have pre-prepared the ingredients before you ordered.

The seating space is quite cramped with small size of wooden table and chairs.

The Mookata Thai BBQ restaurant located at East Coast road and at the opposite of Katong 112. It’s been long-awaited to try out this restaurant, since my husband not a fan of Thai mookata. After a few attempts at convincing him, finally we went there for lunch.

Must say their meat grade is low even though their mookata set only $39.90 we ended up paying $58 for ordering extra pork belly and drink.

The most memorable one is the chili and Thai Milk Tea.
