Chinese Food
All ingredients are priced at $2.88 per 100g. Including meats, seafoods, veggies and noodles. Choose from 3 flavours options: mix mala (dry), beef stock (soup), tomato flavour (soup) with little, medium & extra spicy.
I ordered beef stock Mala Tang, the taste of the soup has a hint of sweetness and blend to tanginess of of the spices.
Overall satisfaction 8.5
Whenever I’m on leave at weekdays, I will try to not miss the tea time at Paradise Dynasty chain restaurant for a quick yum cha. 40% off applicable for dim sum, la mien, desserts.
My fave is pan-fried pumpkin pastry $4.50. Love it, love it 🥰 the radish pastry $6.80 also nice.
This place is located at the end of Liang Seah Street at junction of Beach Road 101. Their menu selection is huge and quality of their meat is above average. I was surprised for $24.90 you can get free flow of oysters, crabs, scallops, bamboo clam, baby squids, etc.
Not a typical hotpot where they give you low grade of meat. Their meat quality is above average. Especially the crab leg is BIG!!
The soup has extra charge $6, but it’s worth it. Best is mala & herbal chicken soup together.
The buffet also come with free flow skewers and drinks. Except canned drinks, it’s an extra $2.
All in all, it’s an impressive menu & tasty buffet 👍🏼
You may be fooled by their promotion at the storefront but the price actually not that cheap. Hot Pot for 2 persons with drinks may be resulted in total bill $50++. Given there’s extra charge for dipping sauce per person. With service and GST.
However overall food was satisfying, although not fantastic. Good for family lunch or dinner. As they provide incentives of soft toys if you accumulate points.
If you’re craving for a dim sum in Bugis area, depending where you are. You can either head to Victor’s Kitchen (Sunshine Plaza) or Hong Kong Dim Sum Shop (at the end Liang Seah street) near Beach Road.
Their steamed pork ribs quite flavourful and the siew mai quite ok. Must admit their menu is quite pricey (4 pcs of siew mai $5.80). Seemed the place expecting late night diners.
Spicy 🌶🌶🌶 beef la mien is perfect for cold weather or when you need a kick in your meal. The portion of beef at first seems little but actually it’s quite generous since it’s hidden beneath the la mien.
As weekend is quite packed at the shop for dinning in, I decided to takeaway their egg tarts $4.70 and HK Style Yin Yang cold $3.20. Their egg tarts is freshly made, you can feel it on your first bite. Although it’s not fantastically delicious but the freshness and the warm serving will definitely make your tummy happy. Paired it with HK Style Yin Yang cold, and you’ll realise they are a match in heaven.
This dish came as a surprise to me as it looks like you tiao. I even ask the waiter to double confirm if they served my order right.
As the saying goes, don’t judge the book by its cover. This is the most surprise dish between 3 dishes that I ordered (siew mai, golden egg yolk lava bun, fried carrot cake with thousand island).
It’s crispy, and tasty at the casing. Wrapped the soft carrot cake inside. Never expected thousand island will compliment fried carrot cake so well.
Love it!! ❤️ the salted egg sauce inside was delicious and it was quite generous amount. Smooth, milky and slightly salty. An unforgettable bite especially when served hot. Definitely live up to the fame. Their siewmai also quite bouncy & juicy but not the star dish. Visited this shop at weekday noon, which not as crowded as dinner at weekend.
No GST & Service Charge
Ordered Chicken Set Hotpot, for one person. It’s very filling and satisfying. You can select and customise your dipping sauce, they’ll serve to you. Attentive service and good meal overall.
Total bill $17
Place:
Nice modern interior with artistic lighting style.
Food taste is unique and tasty. Long queue during dinner time, expect to wait for 30 mins or more if you want to be seated indoor.
This place is one of my go-to comfort food. Their chicken rice and braised pork rice also amazing. Worth a visit for foodie!
Dropped a visit as noticed Putien now is on Burpple Beyond. Putien fans, rejoice!
Ordered Spinach in Supreme stock and Fried Heng Hwa beehoon under 1-for-1 deal. Both was quite good.
Noticed they have seasonal menu - everything made from oysters. There are 7 dishes to choose from; seasoned fresh oyster, traditional oyster soup, seaweed oyster with fried eggs, basil braised oyster, oyster pancake, pan-fried oyster bee hoon and oyster omelette. Sounds like a cholesterol festival going on! 😂
So I ordered their best seller Oyster Omelette, to my surprise it’s slightly over fried. The colour was deep golden brown in overall omelette, looks different compared with picture in the menu.
I was expecting it to has a starchy texture and chewy, paired with plump oysters, but I was wrong. The texture was just crispy. Nonetheless it still acceptable to eat, although a bit disappointed.
The star dish of the day, would goes to Spinach in supreme stock. Well done 👏🏻 the gravy was flavourful and has subtle century egg taste.
