Japan Food Hunt

Japan Food Hunt

As you know Japan is famous for a lot of food, let's go for a jalan jalan around Singapore to taste taste the different food that Japan offers.

Good and decent... just wish the soup can be better

At $10.90++, i think it is a good choice if you are around Somerset. Chose the ā€œhardā€ ramen. Not sure if the noodles are factory manufactured, but i like that the broth is not overly too salty compared to ā€œahhh geeee centā€.

Good amount of vegetables too!

Wont feel bloated after eating too. So thats great!

Worth it! And yummilicious

Just find the miso soup not as nice as the one i had in Japan.

But well, for the price and free flow of rice, i will be back again. šŸ˜‹

It tastes exactly like the ones i always had whenever i visit Japan.

The price is almost the same as in Japan...

But i think the mentaiko cheese ($6.90) is only available here. Yummy šŸ˜‹

Opened beside Sushi Tei (and is operated under Sushi Tei), i definitely will visit this store instead... given its decent quality and more importantly... price!

Good amount of salmon and mentaiko sauce.
Love the yuzu brown rice.
Not coming back for the additional poached egg ($1) as it is cold.

Good amount of chicken and egg.
Requested for less sauce.
Rice too hard
Damage: $10

At only $13, you get chunks of tuna and salmon. Opted to remove the prawn. I feel the rice is overly flavoured and too hard. Delicious though! šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ™‚

You pay for what you get.

At $8.90, i feel this dish is mediocre.

Pork belly and egg taste bland. The pork belly doesnā€™t melt in my mouth.

With an average price of $13, you will be able to get a decent ketchup/butter fried rice with a fluffy egg wrapped outside covered in cream/demi-glace/tomato/curry sauce.

Though portion may look small, it is actually just nice for your tummy. The cream-based sauce has a little sweet touch that complements the sourness of the ketchup in the rice.

The only complain i have are "more cream sauce pls!" and there's only 1 small piece of chicken in the ketchup rice.

Just a lazy person (hardly have any new updates) that loved the outdoor (but scared of the Hot Sun).
