@kow.sg is like a hidden gem as it has just opened for a month in Upper Thomson!
They mainly cater for Wagyu butcher but they also have a seating on the second level with plugs š
A small and decent cafe with quiet vibes to have a good conversation with friends and definitely good food as well! š¤¤
Personally I really love their Moo Kow which is Truffle A5 Wagyu Sando! They toasted the Hokkaido Milk Bread while sandwich the Waygu Patty which is definitely juicy and mouthful, along with their homemade white truffle Mayo where you could smell the truffle once itās been served. š
They do serve Kombucha from @hey.folksyco and I love its Wolfberry Sourplum Kombucha flavour where the Wolfberry soaked the taste of the kombucha and burst in your mouth!
It is even more shiok than your original pearls. The refreshing kombucha compliments really well with the Santo as it elevates the overall taste and makes you crave for another bite!

First up the bulgogi fries, if you know me, you know that chicken upās bulgogi fries held first in my heart cause it is the best food to eat after drinking. And this placeās bulgogi fries actually held up to that standard! Despite their bulgogi meat there isn't as much, but I would say that it still tastes really good with the freshly fried fries!Ā
Along with it are two mains; Lukeās Favourite and striploin steak. Both are equally good, but I am a meat person, so I love their striploin steak even more. For Lukeās favourite, it is more wholesome and healthy with salmon, poached egg and salad covering wholegrain rice. Despite, it being like a real healthy dish (something I wonāt go for or touch), I actually ate almost half of the portion! It.Is.Seriously.Good for a healthy dish!

This is one of the rare gems that we found!! It is located at orchard central, with dried flowers hanging upside down. What amazes me is still the food!Ā
For the striploin steak, the brown sauce is flavourful, loving how I get to choose what to mix and match with my steak - 3 types of salts and 1 pickled mustard. Doneness of the steak is perfect, so as to the mashed potato is perfect too, with a tiny bite of potato chucks for you to chew on.Ā

Never thought that you could eat the shell of a hard shell crab? Neither do I, but you can do that here š¤¤ The salted egg crab is fried beforehand and then cooked with the sauce, that is my new obsession with crab. The classic chilli crab is a good one too! With the thick egg chilli sauce. And what's eating chilli crab without fried man tou? The man tou is so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside

Other than the well known white bee hoon at this area, the next hidden gem would be this dim sum shop!
East bistro is own by a Hong Kong chef and they serve really good dim sum and the main point is affordable.
I would recommend the lui sha bao, the roasted pork (had it only yesterday), the prawn roll, egg tart and their porridge is the signature! So make sure u tried these š
